The BC Sports Hall of Fame is a non profit organization dedicated to inspiring excellence through the stories of British Columbia's sports heroes. The inspiration for the Hall is its honoured members and the collection of artifacts and stories of their challenges and triumphs from over 100 years. We inspire, educate and entertain through our educational programs, entitled the Hero In You. On line lesson plans provide teachers from grades 3 to 7 with curriculum-based content to teach students to set goals, develop a personal plan and puruse their dreams through inspirational stories of our Honoured Members. Field trips provide students and community groups with interactive, experiential tours of our galleries, including the Rick Hansen, Terry Fox, Greg Moore and Olympic Inspiration Galleries. Our On the Road teams share the stories of our heroes and our collection with communities and schools across the province, currently reaching 92% of the school districts in BC.
Pipeline makes theater of the imagination. Our company thrives on adventure and believes no story is worth telling without a little risk. Above all, we aim to leave you with stories that stick somewhere in your heart, your brain, or your guts.

H’art Centre uses fine arts to help adults with intellectual disabilities find their voice, tell their story to the world, while improving literacy, interpersonal and life skills. H'art students have published three books featuring their fictional hero Newton, a young man with intellectual disabilities, as he confronts life challenges like finding a new group home or riding the bus alone for the first time. They turned two of the books into musicals which they performed to rave reviews. Since 2007, H'art students have been participating in a pilot project with Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, in which a number of H'art students attend Queen's classes. In 2005, H'art received the Canada Post Literacy Award for Community Leadership. H'art Centre is based in Kingston, Ontario but is committed to sharing its approach with like-minded organizations in Canada and around the world.
