AGUILAS is dedicated to creating a supportive culturally sensitive environment for gay/bisexual Latinos. We strive to foster knowledge and pride of the diversity of our language, culture, history and spirituality. AGUILAS is committed to developing programs that promote health, well-being and community building that fosters positive self-identities, healthy relationships and leadership skills.
The foundation helps retired U.S. Foreign Service personnel (and their spouses, including surviving/divorced spouses) by providing financial and informational support — on a needs basis — to defray costs such as home health care, senior housing, long‑term care, and related senior services so retirees can remain healthy and secure in later life.
Keiskamma Canada Foundation is currently partnering with the Keiskamma Trust in South Africa, an NGO serving communities in the Eastern Cape. We support their provision of health services in the Umtha Welanga AIDS Treatment Centre as well as help to employ over 150 people in the creation of beautiful, hand-crafted goods through the Keiskamma Art Project.
Our mission is to connect the rich literary traditions and resources of Greater Boston, building relationships among its artists and authors, by empowering, enabling, and amplifying the voices of unheard and underserved populations through free collaborative workshops, public readings, literary journals, video publications, and public exhibits that showcase their work and encourage personal reflection and re-vision, by both author and audience, while sharing their stories with the world. Our workshops are intended to expand access to literary arts for everyone, including those marginalized, stigmatized, or isolated by the challenges of addiction recovery, disability, trauma, sickness, injury, poverty, and mental illness.

EVA is a non-profit organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and registered in the State of Illinois. It was created for the purpose of assisting Ecuadorian institutions devoted to educational, social, and health programs for the poor, neglected, and at-risk segments of the population. EVA is run by volunteers, and the various programs are implemented through network of viable, non-profit Ecuadorian institutions previously selected by a careful screening process. EVA requires that all the funds collected and distributed as yearly grants be only used for programmatic objectives of the organization it sponsors. EVA's Community Assistance Grant was instituted in 2008 to improve the quality of life of economically disadvantaged people living in the Chicago Metropolitan area where EVA is located. I Since its inception, we have been giving opportunities to advance educational, health, and human service programs in the local community.
ABOUT YPK BALI Yayasan Peduli Kemanusiaan (YPK) Bali is a non-for-profit organisation which was founded in 2001 to provide rehabilitation for people who have a disability, and who are unable to access formal health care facilities. It aims to assist people with a disability to be independent, improve their health, optimise their abilities, and help them recognise their importance in society. YPK Bali's Vision: To maximise the independence and improve the quality of life of people with physical disabilities. YPK Bali's mission: 1. To support all efforts of restoring the social functions of people with disabilities through caring, affordable and professional rehabilitation. 2. The Trans-Himalayan Aid Society (TRAS), formerly the Tibetan Refugee Aid Society, is a Vancouver-based non-profit international development organization that seeks to improve the health and education of children and youth in Tibet, Nepal and northern India, working with local partners in the region. TRAS holds no political or religious affiliations, and assists communities on the basis of humanitarian need.
