Mission: Sol Treasures awakens and nurtures appreciation and passion for the arts in people of all ages in South Monterey County and provides a home for creative and inspiring opportunities to unify the community through art and cultureDescription: Sol Treasures provides rural residents an easily accessible location in which to enjoy and exhibit featured works of local artists. Classes are available to the general public as well as to school children. Both visual and performing arts are available and provided throughout the community and at the art center.

The objectives of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution are promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism. We accomplish our mission through over 2,700 chapters in the US and twelve foreign countries. Our Americana Collection houses over 5,000 documents focusing on early America. The DAR Library includes 160,000 volumes of genealogical information. The DAR Museum, which is free and open to the public, is home to a collection of over 30,000 objects and 31 Period Rooms prior to 1840.

The objectives of Master's College and Seminary are: - To provide instruction in higher Christian education for Christian faith and practice; - To prepare students to serve with competence in full-time Christian professions both at home and abroad; - To equip students not anticipating full-time Christian service for positions of lay leadership and activity in various Christianministries; - That MCS be carried on as a Christian institute of theology and stand for the whole Scriptures as the all sufficient rule for faith and practice, adopting the Statement of Fundamental and Essential Truths approved by the PAOC.

Founded in 1950 as an alternative to sign language education, the Montreal Oral School for the Deaf is the first and only school of its kind in Montreal and is one of only three in all of Canada. With the use of technology - hearing aids and cochlear implants - the school provides habilitation, education and support for children with hearing loss from infancy to early adulthood. The school's multidisciplinary approach ensures students and their families receive free of charge linguistic, cognitive, social and emotional support in specialized school settings, in neighborhood schools and at home.

We tell the story of our history as a city in a visual manner. Through our collection, w e demonstrate a strong sense of place and what makes Regina’s people thrive, then and now. From the pioneering families on the plains whose perseverance and resilience forged our City to the history of today as it unfolds , we are inclusive of all people who created Regina and who make it “home”. Our displays describe how Regina came to be, what shaped us then and what shapes us now.

For 30 years the society has successfully staged professional-quality performances of Gilbert and Sullivan's Victorian era comic operas. Each spring, we stage a full scale auditioned production, complete with professional orchestra. Smaller scale productions are mounted each fall and can take the performers "on the road" to nearby communities. LifeLight members are Christian men and women who have experienced God's love and forgiveness. We are an organized group of committed believers taking the gospel to the world, starting in our own back yard. LifeLighters are united in sharing God's Word in the living languages of each nationality at home and abroad. LifeLighters place Scriptures and Scripture portions in schools, hotels, motels, prisons, universities, hospitals, libraries, and other places where the public will pick up and read God's Word.

Our programs and activities are currently focused in the eastern rural areas of Nepal. The beneficiaries of our programs are ultimately the home communities and villages of the young women and girls we support. Our immediate work is to help girls break the cycle of poverty through improved access to education. Our approach is based on helping a select few motivated individuals who show promise and are enthusiastic about being leaders within their community – that is, we seek to leverage the talents of a few who will inspire action in many.

Our Objectives are to: A. Assist impoverished communities and families in moving out from temporary shelters into proper housing facilities. B. Provide educational scholarships for the impoverished but deserving students in India. C. Support inmates of old age homes and orphanages in India by providing basic amenities. D. Support, develop, design programs to motivate and retrain teachers, enhance and improve the learning experience in the classroom and add new facilities in the existing schools e.g., provide drinking water, blackboards and toilets where required.

SchoolBOX is a small organization that is totally dedicated to Making Education Possible. Our projects open doors and opportunities for those who need them most. Through simple and cost effective initiatives- building schools & libraries, providing volunteer opportunities & giving basic school supplies to impoverished children- we are having an impact at home and abroad. SchoolBOX serves children in Central America by helping them learn how to read and write. SchoolBOX serves individuals in Canada by helping them to help others.

We strive to provide education in a setting that allows students to “learn to live together”, in the classroom, on the playground, in the school and in the broader community 3. We provide opportunities for meaningful parental involvement in the school 4. We ensure that parents have the opportunity to learn more about Waldorf education in the classroom and in the home.

The LCHS is committed to the humane treatment of all animals and actively performs cruelty investigations in St. Catharines, Lincoln, Grimsby, Thorold and Niagara-on-the-Lake. Taking in over 4,500 animals each year and adopting cats to forever homes for only $25, the LCHS needs your financial support to continue our important work.
