The Wellesley Institute is a Toronto-based non-profit and non-partisan research and policy institute. We focus on developing research, policy and community mobilization to advance population health. We conduct our work through four core pillars: housing, health care, economics, and immigrant health. The Wellesley Institute is a registered non-profit charity.

NGPL serves the population of the community of North Grenville with a wide range of library services and programs. The Library is currently running a building campaign Room to Read to build a new 10,000 square foot library in downtown Kemptville overlooking the South Branch of the Rideau River. Construction will begin in the Spring of 2010 with the new library opening in March 2011.

Changing children’s lives by inspiring creative, innovative, and confident thinking; connecting imagination and intellect through the power of music. We do this in the form of instrument donations, scholarships, and subsidizing music education outreach programs.

The Horizon West Theater Company is a Community Theater group with a mission to encourage performing artists and volunteers to create quality theater arts, participation in aspects of theatrical production, and education to enhance and connect our community.

Our mission is to nurture artists, writers, and composers from various backgrounds and artistic disciplines and to connect them with the local community in enriching experiences that empower people through the arts in the natural beauty of Northern Michigan.

The Crested Butte Museum’s mission is to preserve, share and celebrate the history and traditions of Crested Butte and the Gunnison Valley. Through engaging educational and cultural experiences, the Museum connects people to the past, the place, and each other.

The VCS is a member of the International Federation of Chopin Societies, based in Vienna. This connection puts us in touch with some fifty other Chopin Societies worldwide, creating exciting possibilities for inviting international musicians to Vancouver.

The Gardens work to connect people with plants—especially species from the Rocky Mountain region and similar climates—by providing living collections, education, research, and public programming that inspire appreciation, stewardship, and conservation of plants.

We aim to inspire people worldwide to engage as peacemakers and use music to transform lives. Today, Musicians Without Borders engages with artists, social activists and communities worldwide. We share expertise as we work to enable musicians to be advocates, activists, teachers, and performers, with the message: war divides, music connects. Musicians Without Borders (MWB) is a global network that uses music for peacebuilding and social change.

Our Mission is to restore the true meaning of Memorial Day by connecting Americans to the sacrifices of our military, law enforcement, firefighters and rescue personnel. Carry The Load programs provide an interactive way for Americans to remember, honor and celebrate Memorial Day in dedication to those who sacrifice for us daily. Funds raised during Memorial May programs allow Carry The Load to grow its vision and execute its mission,as well as provide existing nonprofit partners with valuable visibility, resources, and meaningful connections.

Our mission at WCOM is to educate, inspire, and entertain the diverse populations of Carrboro, Chapel Hill and nearby areas. We cultivate local music and facilitate the exchange of cultural and intellectual ideas, with particular regard for those who are overlooked or under-represented by other media outlets. We provide a space for media access and education by providing equipment and training to our community.

The mission of Brown Ballerinas for Change (BBFC) is to help create advocacy, social justice, and to increase participation of underrepresented populations in ballet.Brown ballerinas are change makers. We are dancer-led and our purpose is to use ballet to promote activism, social justice, and to increase diversity in the arts by providing annual scholarships, a mentor network, and community programs to empower young dancers.
