Cumbria Community Foundation exists to tackle poverty and disadvantage and strengthen Cumbria's communities by connecting fund holders and people who give us money with inspirational, life changing projects.
The Foundation publishes the annual Deaf Ontario Community Calendar. It showcases the outstanding arts works by Deaf artists and photographers from across Canada, while providing selected Deaf charities and groups a way to raise funds in support of their events and programs. A few other initiatives currently under the way will be announced in the near future upon completion. They will demonstrate how the Foundation transforms ideals into actions, symbolizing a positive image of Deaf people, their capabilities and contributions to society.
