Nikkei Place is comprised of the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, Nikkei Home and New Sakura-so. Nikkei Place Foundation helps support programs and activities at Nikkei Place by providing funding to the Nikkei National Cultural Centre and Nikkei Seniors Health Care & Housing Society. The Coquitlam Foundation attracts and manages charitable gifts of cash, bonds, shares, pledges, bequests, memorials and life insurance in the form of permanent endowments. The earnings on these endowment funds are used to return monies to local charities in the form of grants for initiatives to benefit local children, youth, seniors, arts & cultural, conservation and heritage projects of benefit to the residents of Coquitlam.

Burnaby Hospital Foundation raises funds to support the medical equipment needs of Burnaby Hospital. Burnaby Hospital is a 300 bed, community based, acute care hospital caring for over 230,000 people every year. Our Emergency department is one of the busiest in the Province of BC and treats over 45,000 adults and 12,000 children annually.

Selkirk College is a learner-centred college that provides educational experiences and pathways to prepare students for work, further education, service, and lifelong learning. The Close Up Foundation brings citizens from throughout the nation and around the world to Washington, D.C., for a firsthand look at the federal government and the development of public policy. A nonprofit, nonpartisan civic education organization, Close Up connects individuals of all ages to their communities and institutions through challenging education programs and products. By building partnerships with the education community, the private and philanthropic sectors, and all branches and levels of government, Close Up makes civic participation a dynamic and meaningful experience. Since its founding in 1970, Close Up has remained focused on the values of citizenship and the importance of an educated electorate, aware that democracy is a constantly renewing experience that must be taught and shared with each new generation. It has continued a strong organizational determination to make the democratic process available to students from every background, and places special emphasis on outreach to disadvantaged young people, with fellowship programs for low-income students, minority students, migrant students, recent immigrants, American Indians, Alaska Natives, the hearing and visually impaired, and other students with special needs.

The purpose of the foundation shall be to preserve and encourage the preservation of historic buildings, objects and sites relating to the history of Hawai'i to promote an awareness of and respect for all that is historically significant and architecturally distinctive in our State; and through these efforts, to keep alive and intact for the enrichment of present and future generations the inherent beauty of the Hawaiian Islands and its unique historic role in the development of the Pacific Basin.

The IBMA Foundation was created by the International Bluegrass Music Association in 2007 with a bequest from the Richard Barnhart estate. Mr. Barnhart was a musician from northern Virginia who loved bluegrass and wanted to support educational programs for children. Since the beginning, their goal has been to support bluegrass-music-related educational, literary, artistic, and historic preservation activities.

The Baron Jay Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) federally tax exempt nonprofit organization that was legally incorporated in 2004. We are committed to promoting health awareness, relationship guidance, employment preparedness arts education, and financial literacy in economically distressed and underserved communities. We host workshops and programs for at-risk youth that prepare them to become responsible, civic-minded, respectful, and productive citizens. We also sponsor free training programs in computer skills training and English literacy to local communities in underdeveloped regions of the world such as West Central Africa. One of our main goals is to increase digital literacy through computer skill development in poverty stricken communities. All of our workshops are designed to give our beneficiaries practical life-skills that promote self-esteem, empathy, stress reduction, anger management, academic improvement, and civic leadership. Vision Our vision is to become a leader in helping low-income people “at risk” for poverty, despair, and violence overcome these challenges so that they not only uplift themselves, but also lend a helping hand to others. Mission The Baron Jay Family Foundation is a global nonprofit organization committed to improving the quality of life of people in living in underserved communities worldwide. Our mission is to motivate and empower economically disadvantaged individuals — especially youth — to become productive and contributing members of society by providing: • Life skills education in healthy habits and harmonious relationships. • Culturally enriching experiences that promote self-esteem, good citizenship, leadership qualities, and empathy for others. • Extracurricular workshops in job preparedness, computer training, and financial literacy to help reduce the achievement gap and the global digital divide.

There are two avenues through which your generosity can bolster our efforts to maintain and improve upon the excellence that our school offers. A gift to the “Ridley College Foundation” bolsters our extensive Scholarship & Bursary program, which provides vital financial aid to deserving students. The Foundation also supports Teaching Professional Development, Facility Maintenance and Prizes and Awards. A donation to "Ridley College" makes available financial support for key programs that we are proud to offer and grants the school the flexibility required to address our most pressing budgetary needs. Every donor has the choice to direct their gift to any area of the school including Academics, Arts, Athletics or Campus Life. The Zeitoun Memorial Foundation, a non-profit organization, was established to preserve the culture and heritage of an ancient people. While its ancient history is well known, its two thousand year past is relatively unknown. Taking major milestones as starting points, this organization will dutifully research more detailed history in order to establish curriculums to educate on this people’s recent history to present.

The Grants Program is the legacy of the Foundation. Each year over $30,000 is given to teachers to run projects not supported by the operational funds of schools. We also have many programs designed to ensure all students can maximize their learning and their success rate. We provide for hungry kids, we purchase snowsuits and boots for those in need and help with annual Christmas baskets.
