The Museum Foundation of Hebbronville strives for the preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of Jim Hogg County.

The Students on Ice Foundation seeks funding from a wide variety of sources. Each year, up to one hundred high school students receive scholarships to participate on Students on Ice expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic thanks to the generous support of governments, foundations, corporations and philanthropists around the world.

The Quesnel Community Foundation is a public charity that gives grants to projects to help improve or address an issue in our community. We have a permanent Community Investment fund, which will never be spent. To date, we have given out $175,000 in grants to deserving community groups since we were founded in 2001. We are autonomous and governed by a volunteer board of local leaders. We are a member of Community Foundations of Canada and receive advice and assistance from them, as well as the Vancouver Foundation.

The Belinda Stronach Foundation (TBSF) creates partnerships with individuals,non-governmental organizations, businesses small and large,as well as other foundations whose goals are to work within and beyond our borders to confront challenges and create opportunities. The Calgary Public Library Foundation is a registered charity, separate from the Calgary Public Library itself. The funds raised by the Foundation through the generosity of our donors do not replace the Library’s core funding, but rather enhance the special programs and services that the Library can provide. Since 2001 the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) has worked to change lives in Oil Country through their support of a host of deserving organizations. The Foundation gives back in excess of $1 million annually to registered charities throughout Central and Northern Alberta who focus their activities on youth, education and health & wellness.

The mission of the Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation is to preserve the aviation history of the U.S. Marine Corps, honor the service of its people, and inspire in all generations an appreciation of America’s freedoms and values.The Foundation accomplishes its mission by supporting the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum and providing programs to serve the community and share the heritage of USMC aviation.

Aylmer Area Community Foundation pools charitable gifts in a capital fund to create a lasting legacy for the future of our community. The Foundation reaches out to people of all ages from the Town of Aylmer, Township of Malahide and the Municipality of Bayham. Through the generosity of many donors, both large and small, the Foundation continues to grow. Your individual gift is never spent or ‘used up.’ Its purchasing power is preserved along with other donor gifts through an invested capital fund. Donations are retained as capital in perpetuity. The interest generated by the fund is used to provide grants to enhance the quality of life in Aylmer and surrounding area. The mission of the Aylmer Area Community Foundation is to distribute grants to organizations which provide a wide range of cultural, educational, health, environmental, recreational, heritage and community services.
