This Is Done Through Grants, Historic Preservation Awards, Scholarships, Publications, Communications And Children's Programs.

The Canadian Olympic Foundation raises funds to support current Olympians, future Olympians and the Sport System in Canada. Our commitment to high performance sport in Canada is delivered through our current priority programs for funding, which fall under three categories: 1. Winners – our current Olympians 2. Podium Pipeline – Future Olympians 3. Builders – the Sport System in Canada

For more than 17 years, Science Alberta Foundation (SAF) has created and delivered innovative programs that promote science literacy in Alberta. We are a community foundation created by and for the residents of Nelson and the surrounding area. We also administer community funds created by nearby communities: the Slocan Valley Legacy Fund, the Salmo Valley Fund and the Community Fund of North Kootenay Lake. We are here to help individuals and groups make an ongoing difference in their communities. When you give to a fund within Osprey Community Foundation, your money is never spent. Instead, it is added to a growing, income-earning pool of capital. Each year the earnings on that capital flow back into our communities though grants to local charities. Your donation is like an apple tree - once planted, the tree will keep providing harvests for year after year. It's a gift that keeps on giving. United Luz Foundation (ULF) is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization - A Voice for the Voiceless. We are dedicated to raising awareness to Depression and Domestic Violence globally by utilizing and engaging the arts, beauty, and entertainment industry as powerful allies to empower, advocate, provide programs, resources, and enriching the lives of those who suffer in silence, in addition to women and children who are living in homeless shelters, domestic violence safe houses or living under privileged communities.

The mission of the American Lighthouse Foundation is to save and preserve our nation’s historic light stations and their rich heritage. ALF has invested over $3.25 million dollars in lighthouse restoration. (Photo by Ron Foster) (Photo by Ron Foster) This will be accomplished through the restoration, promotion and adaptive re-use of America’s historic light stations, as well as educational initiatives that foster the sustainable preservation of lighthouses and perpetuate the legacy of the men and women who have tended them.

Through the performing arts programs, the participants have the possibility to discover and deepened their knowledge and experience in performing arts disciplines (circus arts, dance, theater, music) and in dept exploration and training in team building, cooperation, self-confidence and social involvement in community. The program will be open to international organization and youth programs of all ages. To run this program, the foundation mission is to build and manage a performing arts center with residences and facilities that will be constructed on a land of 350 acres that will be acquired with donations.

RNF Mission: The mission of the Religion News Foundation is to strengthen and encourage religion reporting as a means of improving public understanding of religion. The primary means of doing this is by providing journalists in the secular media access to useful resources, examples of best practices and opportunities for increased communication with one another. RNS Mission: Religion News Service is an independent, nonprofit and award-winning source of global news on religion, spirituality, culture and ethics, reported by a staff of professional journalists. Founded in 1934, RNS seeks to inform readers with objective reporting and insightful commentary, and is relied upon by secular and faith-based news organizations in a number of countries. RNS is affiliated with the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri. RNF Vision: Religion News Foundation shall accomplish its mission by supporting and funding the work of the RNA and through its own programs to promote excellence in religion reporting. RNS Vision: Religion News Service aims to be the largest single source of news about religion, spirituality and ideas. We strive to inform, illuminate and inspire public discourse on matters relating to belief and convictions.

What we do: S.H.A.R.E. Agriculture Foundation (Sending Help and Resources Everywhere) provides funding and guidance to community-based agricultural projects in developing countries, with a focus on Central and South America. Currently, we have projects in Brazil, Belize and El Salvador. Our projects are in the poorest, most isolated communities. These communities are often made up of refugees who have left their homelands due to war and poverty. S.H.A.R.E. chooses communities where the projects will have the greatest impact.
