StoryCorps’ mission is to preserve and share humanity’s stories to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world. We do this to remind one another of our shared humanity, to strengthen and build connections between people, to teach the value of listening, and to weave into the fabric of our culture the understanding that everyone’s story matters. At the same time we are creating an invaluable archive for future generations.

THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION, AS AUTHORIZED BY THE ACT, IS TO HONOR THE FOUNDING OF THE PEACE CORPS IN 1961 AND THOSE FUNDAMENTAL AMERICAN IDEAS AND VALUES SYMBOLIZED BY THE PEACE CORPS SERVICE.THE FOUNDATION IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCEPTANCE OF CONTRIBUTIONS FOR, AND PAYMENT OF THE EXPENSES OF, THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THIS COMMEMORATIVE WORK.

The Marine Corps Association Foundation is a 501(c)(3) which was established in 2009 to support & expand professional development resources, programs, and activities provided the Marine Corps Association (MCA).

Founded in 2001, we are enriching the Calgary community with original dance performances that are thought provoking and inspiring for all ages. We value artistic collaboration and work with local artists and community groups to create moving performances for Calgary audiences. Our staff, board and volunteers are committed to investing in the future of dance in Canada. We provide career opportunities for professional dancers and choreographers. Through our dynamic youth company, we are taking an active role in the development of the next generation of dancers and arts leaders. Documentary storytelling expands our understanding of shared human experience, fostering an informed, compassionate and connected world. The International Documentary Association (IDA) is dedicated to building and serving the needs of a thriving documentary culture. Through its programs, IDA provides resources, creates community and defends rights and freedom for documentary artists, activists and journalists

Medical Mercy Canada (MMC) is a registered, non-governmental, non-religious, charitable organization. It provides medical supplies and education, as well as, social & wellness programs to Burmese refugees, impoverished Ukraine villagers and to the people of Nepal. Projects include homes for the elderly, health & dental clinics, schools, sanitation, and medic training, agricultural programs for orphans, and women's education.

Established in 2000, the Texas Medical Center Orchestra (TMCO) is one of the very few orchestras with its origin in the health professions. Most of the members are health professionals who have a dedication to music that goes beyond their daily occupations. The mission of the orchestra is to provide health care professionals with a high-quality outlet for creative expression through the world of symphonic music; perform regularly at affordable concerts that are open to the public and in an accessible venue; attract a diverse audience by commitments to select popular programming reflecting Houston’s diversity; and bring public attention to, and provide programmatic support for, medically related and/or educational charities. The Texas Medical Center Orchestra is just the right medicine.

We serve American children as their national arts organization, seeding their imagination, cultivating creativity, and fostering mutual empathy among them (for “a more perfect union”) and with their peers worldwide (for a peaceful future). Founded in 1997, the International Child Art Foundation (ICAF) organizes the Arts Olympiad, a school art program that has grown over the years into the world’s largest; it also produces the World Children’s Festival at the National Mall, located across from the U.S. Capitol. ICAF's ad-free ChildArt quarterly magazine enhances cross-cultural understanding and global competencies. ICAF has organized Healing Art Programs to revive faith in nature of child victims of natural disasters, and Peace through Art Programs to restore trust in humanity of children in conflict zones.

The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame is a national charitable organization that serves as an enduring tribute to the Canadian men and women who, now and in the past, have contributed to the understanding of disease and the improved health and well being of people everywhere.
