Historic Dumfries Virginia, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit membership organization which operates the Weems-Botts Museum, hosts educational programs and events, and maintains a research library, archive, and collections on Dumfries' history. Our mission is to preserve and promote the historic heritage of Dumfries - Virginia's oldest chartered town.

The Gulfport Historical Society preserves and celebrates Gulfport culture and history through exhibits and programs that educate and inspire the community and visiting public.

The Daughters of Hawaii (the society) was granted a charter of incorporation by the governor of the territory of Hawaii on April 17, 1915, for educational and eleemosynary purposes, including "perpetuating the memory and spirit of old Hawaii and its historical events and preserving the nomenclature and pronunciation of the Hawaiian language." The society operates the Queen Emma summer palace museum in Honolulu, Hawaii and the Hhulihe'e Palace in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

The mission of the Camano Schoolhouse Foundation into renovate and preserve the classic one-room 1905 Camano City Schoolhouse, to exhibit Camano Island history and to provided a vibrant gathering place for educational and cultural activities for people of all ages.

Philadelphia Ship Preservation Guild maintains and sails historic ships to bring the past to the present. We are a non-profit organization that teaches and practices seamanship, traditional restoration, maritime culture, and sailing skills in a fun and team focused setting

The mission of the San Diego African American Museum of Fine Art (SDAAMFA) is to present and preserve the art of African Americans globally and to broaden the knowledge and understanding of the visual arts in Southeastern California generally and San Diego specifically by collecting, preserving and displaying works of art by and about African Americans; by creating and hosting quality traveling exhibitions; by collecting and preserving fine art and by developing and helping to foster an appreciation of art through meaningful public programs, symposia, and other educational programs.
