The National Infantry Museum Foundation Honors Soldiers By Supporting The National Infantry Museum And Soldier Center, Whose Mission Is To Provide Education And Training To Soldiers, Families, And The General Public On All Facets Of The History Of The United States Infantry, The Origin And Development Of Fort Benning, And An Overview Of The U.S. Army.

The National Women’s History Museum educates, inspires, empowers, and shapes the future by integrating women's distinctive history into the culture and history of the United States. Until legislation passes in Congress designating a permanent museum in Washington, D.C., the NWHM promotes women's history through its temporary exhibits, special events and programs, online museum, online educational materials and social media.

THE NATIONAL CIVIL WAR MUSEUM TO SERVE AS A NATIONAL CENTER TO INSPIRE LIFELONG LEARNING OF THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR THROUGH THE PRESERVATION AND BALANCED PRESENTATION OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLES STRUGGLES FOR SURVIVAL AND HEALING.

THE MISSION OF THE JAPANESE AMERICAN NATIONAL MUSEUM (THE "MUSEUM") IS TO PROMOTE UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF AMERICA'S ETHNIC AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY BY PRESERVING, INTERPRETING AND SHARING THE EXPERIENCES OF JAPANESE AMERICANS.

The National Marine Life Center rehabilitates and releases stranded marine mammals and sea turtles in order to advance science and education in marine wildlife health and conservation.

The museum preserves and interprets America’s industrial heritage through exhibits, programs, and collections that highlight the machines, people, and ideas that shaped U.S. industry, and it works to educate and inspire future innovators.

The mission of the National Medal of Honor Museum and its attendant education center is to commemorate the stories of our Medal of Honor recipients, unite Americans around what it means to be patriotic, and inspire us to find the hero within ourselves. At a time when Americans yearn for common ground, visitors will appreciate the deeds our best and bravest have done in defense of our liberty and the virtue of putting service over self.

The Association raises funds and leads the capital campaign to design, build, and support the National Coast Guard Museum in New London so the public can learn about U.S. Coast Guard history, operations, and contributions; it also develops educational programming and community engagement around the museum.
