Friends of Metro Dance is a nonprofit that supports and expands dance programming in the Metro Parks Dance Division of Nashville. It raises funds and mobilizes volunteers to provide affordable dance education, performance opportunities (for example the Centennial Youth Ballet productions), scholarships, community programs like Dancing with Parkinson’s, and improvements to community dance studios.

Avalanche Arts is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the performing arts in Maple Grove, MN. Our mission is to provide a platform for creativity, innovation, and cultural exchange. Voices of Change is the Southwest’s premiere professional chamber music ensemble dedicated to the performance of the music of our time. Now in its 42nd year, voices of change fills a unique niche in the music world by performing small ensemble works by 20th and 21st century composers, encouraging, and preserving the impulse of musical creativity and imagination.

Merit School of Music transforms the lives of Chicago-area youth by providing the highest quality music education – with a focus on underserved communities – inspiring young people to achieve their full musical and personal potential.

The Music Conservatory of Westchester is a welcoming, diverse community of people with a shared committed to the arts, guiding students of all ages and abilities to develop their talents in ways that support their indivdidual goals and interests, mentored by dedicated, excellent faculty members.

For the past 50 years, the Shakespeare Club has become particularly well-known for its Broadway musicals staged annually to benefit various worthy charities in our community. In recent years, these have become semi-professional productions involving an entire year of planning and preparation. Under professional direction and choreography and with professional sets and orchestra, club members, husbands, and friends volunteer thousands of rehearsal, production, and promotion hours to bring the show to the public. Proceeds from these productions have been donated to various charities: The Association of Retarded Citizens, Wellness Community, Villa Esperanza, the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Currently, our proceeds go to fund college scholarships for outstanding high school graduates in Pasadena high schools.

Founded in 1956, and now celebrating our 60th year, The Rockland Conservatory of Music is a not-for-profit community music school and center for the performing arts, created to provide quality professional music instruction to students of diverse ages, abilities and financial backgrounds and to provide a community forum for performing arts, culture and entertainment.

The mission of The Academy of Vocal Arts is to be the world’s premier institution for training young artists as international opera singers. The mission of Friends of Chamber Music is to present the finest chamber music performances to the Denver metropolitan area for the enrichment of diverse audiences; to introduce chamber music to new audiences; and to provide education and outreach programs for children and adults in the community.

For over 27 years in Durham Region, Girls Inc. has helped girls at-risk achieve their full potential. We've provided thousands of girls knowledge, skills, and attitudes to overcome social, emotional, and economic challenges in order to achieve their full potential. Girls who participate in Girls Inc. programs: Grow self-esteem that carries over to home, school, and the community; Develop sound decision-making and communication skills; Assert themselves as confident individuals throughout their lives; Build key leadership and strong work skills; Create meaningful, supportive peer groups.
