Educating the whole child (mind, body and spirit) is paramount. Children learn subjects through storytelling, visual stimulation, and experience. ERSM follows the government curriculum, but with a unique approach.

Wintergreen is a year-round environmentally friendly facility, located on 204 acres of mixed forests, meadows, and granite outcrops in the heart of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve. The reserve is one of a global network of UNESCO designated reserves - natural regions with unique geographic features, populated with people committed to sustainable community development. The Wintergreen facilities are used for workshops in the arts, and are also available for groups seeking a private retreat for small meetings. Our facilities serve as a demonstration and research site for off-grid living on the land that is part of the ancient granite spine of North America. Wintergreen Studios offers a unique setting to enhance self-awareness, relationship and community building, creative thinking, visioning, and wellness.

The Unlocking Potential (UP) Foundation raises funds for Catholic Family Service (CFS) to help people deal with debilitating issues like poverty, addictions, abuse, mental health and other concerns that stand in the way of living life to its full potential. UP was created in 2009 as a distinct foundation dedicated to “unlocking the potential” of the Calgary community to take part in raising money for innovative, high-impact programs aimed at “unlocking the potential” of vulnerable people to thrive. Humanity above all is our mantra. This means we don’t turn our backs on anyone – from any faith or culture. We treat everyone with love, kindness and respect – just like a member of the family. Fundamentally, we believe in people. And the extraordinary ability within us all to overcome challenges and become successful, caring and contributing members of society.

To facilitate long-term partnerships between Canadian communities and disadvantaged world communities for their mutual transformation. Communities include churches, schools, universities, health teams and others who are partnering with Maria Auxiliadora and Soto communities in the central region of the Dominican Republic. Current projects: 1. T.E.A.R.S. School: preschool to Grade 5 for children in Maria Auxiliadora barrio 2. Soto School: preschool to Grade 4 for Haitian children in Soto community 3. Soto water project: water purification system in Soto community 4. Health Programs: community health programs, school health clinics 5. Camps: camps for children at the TEARS and Soto Schools 6. El Camino Church: support for church in Maria Auxiliadora and their community programs (e.g. food bank) 7. Soto Church: support for church in Soto community and their community programs (e.g. refugees impacted by earthquake in Haiti) 8. Teacher Training at TEARS and Soto Schools

Established in 2000, the Texas Medical Center Orchestra (TMCO) is one of the very few orchestras with its origin in the health professions. Most of the members are health professionals who have a dedication to music that goes beyond their daily occupations. The mission of the orchestra is to provide health care professionals with a high-quality outlet for creative expression through the world of symphonic music; perform regularly at affordable concerts that are open to the public and in an accessible venue; attract a diverse audience by commitments to select popular programming reflecting Houston’s diversity; and bring public attention to, and provide programmatic support for, medically related and/or educational charities. The Texas Medical Center Orchestra is just the right medicine.

The Lethbridge HIV Connection is a non-profit registered charitable organization registered under the Societies Act of Alberta. We are a volunteer driven, community based organization. Our services primarily consist of Client Services: support, education and advocacy for individuals, friends and families living with or affected by HIV or Hepatitis C; Community Development: public awareness, partnership development and forming/changing public policies affecting persons living with HIV/Hep C; and Harm Reduction: with the Community Harm Reduction Network, the Chinook Health Region and several pharmacies, we work to provide collaborative population health approaches to the delivery of Harm Reduction services within the Chinook Health Region.

Objectives: - to advance education of needy children - to alleviate poverty through funding of micro-projects that generate jobs and income. - to improve the health and wellbeing of the vulnerable children and families.

We fulfill this mission by: Providing food and other basic amenities to persons in need. Establishing, operating and maintaining Orphanages, Elementary and High Schools, and Training facilities for persons in need. Improving the quality of drinking water by constructing wells and water treatment, irrigation and sewage treatment systems. Developing and promoting public health by establishing, operating and maintaining Medical Clinics, for the purpose of educating and instructing the public on the prevention of, and curative measures for health problems.

Founded in 1985, AboutFace promotes and enhances mental and emotional well-being of individuals with facial differences and their families through peer and social support, information, educational and experiential programs, and public awareness. We serve children, adults and families affected by facial differences both congenital and acquired; health care, social service, and dental professionals; and educators across Canada and around the world. A beloved Bay Area institution, the Midsummer Mozart Festival was founded in 1974 by George Cleve and a regional consortium of classical musicians, who recognized him as one of the world's great interpreters of the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. So now coming into our 43rd Anniversary season, the Festival is still the only music festival in North America dedicated exclusively to Mozart. The Festival presents a critically-acclaimed summer concert season featuring renowned international soloists as well as distinguished local artists, with a dedication to fresh and intelligent interpretation of the work of this most enduring and universally loved composer. Our mission embraces both performances of the highest artistic excellence, and cultivation of new audiences, including young people, to assure the future appreciation of great music, and the arts.
