Music in the Mountains inspires and engages community members of all ages by providing access to extraordinary classical music through performances and youth education programs.

The mission of The 52nd Street Project, a community-based arts organization, is to bring together kids from Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan, starting at age ten and lasting through their teens, with theater professionals to create original theater offered free to the general public. By building on the core experience of accomplishment and collaboration, the Project fosters a sense of inclusion in a place where the children belong and where their creative work is the driving force. Through long-term mentoring relationships and exposure to diverse art forms, the Project seeks to expand the children's means of expression and to improve their literacy, their life skills, and their attitude towards learning.

Founded in 2015, Vanguard Theater Company is committed to producing transformational theater dedicated to diversity, community engagement, education and professional artistic mentorship. Through dynamic storytelling, Vanguard Theater Company produces works that reflect the various complexions of the 21st century artist and audience. Vanguard Theater Company is a registered 501(c)3 not for profit arts organization envisioned by visionary co-founders, Mrs. Janeece Freeman-Clark and Mr. Daryl l. Stewart.

The Park Theatre Mission: Started over 10 years ago, the purpose of The Park Theatre Corporation is to provide and promote artistic, cultural, entertainment and educational programs and activities for the residents of, and visitors to, the communities of the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire, and to lease and/or own, and maintain physical facilities. To enable each community to provide for school-age children a hot, nutritious, culturally reflective breakfast in a social educational and stimulating environment. ABOUT US For more than 40 years, The Children’s Breakfast Clubs has provided healthy meals and educational, cultural and recreational activities to children across Southern Ontario, in a respectful and dignified manner. While originally focused on breakfast, we have expanded our offerings to include lunch programs at select clubs, ensuring children receive nutritious meals throughout the day to support their growth, learning, and overall well-being. OUR HISTORY Our doors opened in 1984 after it was determined that many community needs and concerns could be addressed with a breakfast program. Today, The Children's Breakfast Clubs operate as a non-profit organization in over 39 clubs. OUR IMPACT Quite often, hunger is invisible to the untrained eye and children are less likely to disclose this information to adults. Starting the day with a healthy breakfast has a proven track record that leads to improved overall health, decrease in behavioral issues, higher self-esteem and confidence levels, as well as better academic performance and extra-curricular participation. Using a holistic approach, we also deliver educational, cultural and recreational programs that help children aged 5 to 18 develop social, physical and cognitive skills.

IRIS MUSIC PROJECT REIMAGINES RESIDENTIAL AND HEALTHCARE COMMUNITIES AS SPACES OF CREATIVE EXCHANGE. THROUGH COLLABORATIVELY DESIGNED PROGRAMMING, IRIS MUSIC PROJECT PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONNECTION AND PURPOSE FOR RESIDENTS, CAREGIVERS, AND MUSICIANS.

To elevate student engagement, and expand the role of music in education by making purposeful, inclusive music a joyful and integral part of literacy, academic, and social-emotional learning throughout the school day, and beyond. We accomplish this by training and equipping inspired educators to integrate hands-on music and songs for learning with classroom instruction, activities, transitions, support services, and building classroom communities. ​Our unique, developmental approach nurtures creative and effective teaching practices through free weekly professional development (PD) courses in ukulele, guitar, and classroom implementation, as well as capacity-building co-teaching artist residencies, intensive workshops, in-service trainings, conference presentations, after school music clubs, and specialized services in adaptive music for inclusion.

NextStop Theatre company is a professional, not-for-profit theatre company producing theatrical performances and educational programs that are uniquely ambitious, intimate, and accessible, in and for northern Virginia’s Dulles corridor community.

CULTURAL ENRICHMENT

Dance in the Parks’ mission is to bring free, professional dance performances to new audiences in the most accessible venues in Chicago—neighborhood parks. We hope to expose audiences unfamiliar with dance to the art form as well as to local performers and choreographers in a relaxed, casual atmosphere in order to build future relationships with the greater Chicago dance community.
