Mission: As a cultural resource for the entire region, Edmonds     Center for the Arts will inspire creativity, learning and growth through     performing arts presentations, community partnerships and education     outreach programs.

The Angel Foundation for Learning aims to ensure that all TCDSB students are equally able to participate in opportunities that sustain and enhance the educational process including: student nutrition programs, class trips, leadership activities, bursaries and funding for social work emergency needs, for instance: eyeglasses, hearing aids, food vouchers and other essentials for TCDSB students in need.

The Hearing Foundation of Canada is a national charitable organization established in 1979, led by a volunteer Board of Directors drawn from the business and medical communities, many of whom have personal experience with hearing loss.

The Canadian Writers' Foundation is a registered charity that grants continued financial assistance to some of Canada's finest writers in times of extreme financial distress.

Since 1979, the Chilliwack Academy of Music has provided high quality music instruction and programming in all styles, for students of all ages and abilities living in Chilliwack and the surrounding communities. Expert instruction is offered on a variety of instruments as well as through group classes and performing ensembles led by highly trained and experienced faculty. Operating as a not-for-profit charitable society, the Academy directly serves 500 students a year from newborns to seniors and is a proud member of the B.C. Association of Community Music Schools. In September 2010, the Chilliwack Academy of Music relocated to the $22-million city-owned Chilliwack Cultural Centre. The Academy now programs 21 music instruction rooms including 18 private lesson studios, and 3 classrooms. The Academy’s involvement as a Core Partner in the new Cultural Centre allows it to meet the growing demands of the community for high quality music instruction and programming.

The Friends of Algonquin Park was established in 1983 as a non profit registered charity. The Friends operate as a cooperating association under an agreement with the Ontario Parks to enhance the educational and interpretive programs in Algonquin Park. This is accomplished by developing and reprinting Park-related publications, and funding Park projects through the proceeds from sales at The Friends' two bookstores in the Park, private donations, and various fundraising efforts. The activities of The Friends of Algonquin are coordinated by a volunteer Board of Directors who reside in different parts of Ontario. Since its establishment, The Friends has grown to a membership of over 3000 people, and continues to attract support from around the world.

The OSA is a key contributor to the culturally rich, diverse and vibrant community of the National Capital Region. As a non-profit, charitable organization, the school offers a full range of specialized art courses for all ages. In addition to general art courses, the OSA offers three pre-professional programs: a one-year Portfolio Development Certificate, a one-year Contemporary Crafts Certificate, and a three-year Fine Arts Diploma. The OSA’s fully accessible building gets a lot of use; having grown from 3 to 7 core programs within 20 years, and as a result offering employment to 60 instructors who teach over 80 courses in various media. In addition, the 2 gallery spaces and boutique host over 15 events each year. Open seven (7) days a week, the school is constantly full of activity and continues to advance its services.

Established in 1965, Street Haven was one of the first shelters for women in Toronto. We are dedicated to providing help and support to women in need. We serve women who are abused, homeless, socially isolated and those living in poverty as well as women who come from abusive situations or have mental health, alcoholism and/or addiction challenges. We provide emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing, a drop-in centre & food program, addiction case management, residential addictions programs, education programs and recreational/social opportunities. Women who use our services find ways to improve the quality of their lives.

The Caring and Sharing Exchange provides much-needed assistance to Ottawa residents facing economic hardship during the back-to-school and Christmas seasons. The assistance is provided by means of food hampers, backpacks and gift-vouchers to Giant Tiger. The Pregnancy Options & Support Centre is a organization dedicated to showing God's love by meeting the needs of women in crisis by offering support to her and all those involved in the crisis pregnancy. We offer peer-counselling as it pertains to an unplanned pregnancy. Our services include options counselling, pregnancy support, parenting support groups, post-abortion care, post-adoption support,material support, and relationship counselling. We do not recommend or refer for abortion. All services are free of charge to the client with the assurance of confidentiality.
