The Quesnel Community Foundation is a public charity that gives grants to projects to help improve or address an issue in our community. We have a permanent Community Investment fund, which will never be spent. To date, we have given out $175,000 in grants to deserving community groups since we were founded in 2001. We are autonomous and governed by a volunteer board of local leaders. We are a member of Community Foundations of Canada and receive advice and assistance from them, as well as the Vancouver Foundation.

The Belinda Stronach Foundation (TBSF) creates partnerships with individuals,non-governmental organizations, businesses small and large,as well as other foundations whose goals are to work within and beyond our borders to confront challenges and create opportunities. TBSF focuses on the following pillars: - Girls and Women - Malaria - Aboriginal Youth

The Glenn Gould Foundation will, in the spirit of Glenn Gould, inspire, support and celebrate artistic endeavour by globally implementing the Mission.

The Calgary Public Library Foundation is a registered charity, separate from the Calgary Public Library itself. The funds raised by the Foundation through the generosity of our donors do not replace the Library’s core funding, but rather enhance the special programs and services that the Library can provide. Created in 1999, the John Abbott College Foundation actively promotes philanthropy and encourages investment in our most valuable resource - our students. Since 2001 the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) has worked to change lives in Oil Country through their support of a host of deserving organizations. The Foundation gives back in excess of $1 million annually to registered charities throughout Central and Northern Alberta who focus their activities on youth, education and health & wellness.

The Down Syndrome Research Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

The NCCI Foundation supports the NCCI school by providing scholarships and bursaries as well as funds for material projects such as technology, music instruments, etc.

The Mitchell County Development Foundation is a local 501(c)(3) community foundation that raises and distributes funds to support economic and cultural needs in Mitchell County. It runs grant programs (most recently a Small Business Resiliency Fund) and other recovery efforts to help local businesses and the community recover from disasters and build long-term economic resilience.

Founded in New York City in 1966, the mission of the Paul Taylor Dance Foundation is to cultivate, promote and encourage understanding of and public interest in the arts through performances of the choreographic work of Paul Taylor. In 2014, the Foundation expanded its mission with the launch of Paul Taylor American Modern Dance, building upon the past to transform the Foundation into an institutional center for American modern dance. Mission: To become a place where the upcoming generation of contemporary choreographers is nurtured and showcased, where the masterwork of the genre's great pioneers is preserved and presented, and where the American modern dance idiom is presented to large audiences to be experienced and celebrated.
