GREY SAUBLE CONSERVATION FOUNDATION

The Grey Sauble Conservation Foundation (GSCF) is a registered Canadian charity that offers the public the opportunity to actively participate in conserving and enhancing our natural heritage through programs and activities of Grey Sauble Conservation. Through various fundraising avenues the GSCF supports the implementation of important conservation and environmental programs and projects. The GSCF Board of Directors is comprised of a maximum of seventeen members. Three of the Board members are appointed by the Grey Sauble Conservation Board of Directors. In order to achieve our objectives, GSCF needs the support and involvement of everyone who appreciates the natural environment of the Grey Sauble Watershed. Donations are always welcome and we encourage individuals, businesses and other organizations to support and participate in GSCF events, programs, projects and new initiatives.

SHAWNIGAN LAKE SCHOOL FOUNDATION

Shawnigan Lake School is a university preparatory, co-ed boarding school for students in grades 8 through 12. Shawnigan was founded in 1916 by C. W. Lonsdale. Students are given an enriched education with emphasis on academics, fine arts, sport and good moral values. Shawnigan's aim is to develop good citizens of excellent character. Shawnigan prides itself on offering significant financial aid to deserving students and is committed to ensuring top candidates have access to a great Shawnigan education regardless of their family finances. NorQuest College is Edmonton’s community college and Alberta’s largest, serving 8,500 students annually throughout the province in full-time, part-time, distance learning and regional programs. As a regional steward, we provide access to adult education in Edmonton and the surrounding region for 23 communities NorQuest College helps learners with diverse educational backgrounds complete or further their studies through foundational and continuing education programs. Our post-secondary diploma and certificate programs offer career paths in health, community studies and business. We also provide educational opportunities at the times, places and delivery formats that best meet our learners’ needs. By collaborating with business, industry, government and communities, we ensure our post-secondary education is necessary and workforce relevant. With roots that date back to 1936 when Nanaimo’s first vocational training school opened its doors, Vancouver Island University (VIU) shares a rich history and connectedness with its communities. VIU has evolved into a dynamic, internationally known university supporting a student population in excess of 18,000 full-and part-time learners, including 1100 international students, over 1500 aboriginal students, and employing over 2,000 faculty and staff. VIU operates four campuses including a main campus in Nanaimo and regional campuses in Duncan, Powell River and Parksville•Qualicum.
