The Fund operates primarily as an endowment with accrued interest being disbursed annually to: Support the PPCLI Regimental Museum and Archives; Offer bursaries for serving and former members of the PPCLI, their families and the members of Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps that are affiliated with the PPCLI; Provide financial support to Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps that are affiliated with the PPCLI; Provide referrals and facilitate access to appropriate social, medical and legal agencies for serving and former members of the PPCLI and their families suffering hardship; and develop and maintain various PPCLI Regimental memorials. The HGMF is also accepting donations to support the PPCLI Association 100th Anniversary Projects. The Canadian Revenue Agency has authorized the HGMF to accrue donations through to 2015 in support of the Hamilton Gault Memorial Park, Centennial Baton, Ottawa Memorials and Frezenberg Memorial Projects.
