The mission of Jazz Empowers is to transform the lives of youth in underserved schools through jazz education.We fulfill this mission by partnering with underserved schools across the country to start and develop jazz programs. We are driven by our belief that every child in America has the right to a high quality music education. We teach jazz because it is rooted in improvisation which maximizes students’ creativity and self expression. We believe jazz has the power to transform students’ lives intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Karlovsky & Company Dance is a St. Louis based contemporary modern dance company dedicated to exploring and nurturing the art of dance with innovative choreography that illuminates the human experience. The company fosters collaborative relationships among musicians, visual artists, and choreographers reaching local, national, and international audiences through concert and informal performances, and dance education. Founder and artistic director, Dawn Karlovsky, is a 2015 Artist Fellow of the Regional Arts Commission in St. Louis.

The International Museum of Dance fosters shared human experience through the understanding, exploration, and participation in the art and language of dance. IMOD is redefining the scope of a traditional museum through online and in-person experiences that celebrate, integrate, and teach dance across communities, cultures, and generations worldwide. IMOD is building this vibrant, inclusive ecosystem in partnership with notable artists, educators, technology innovators, and cultural institutions, elevating the diversity, interconnectedness, and cultural impact of an indispensable universal art form.

The Artistic Home creates theatre and film that explores and celebrates the truth within us. Through extraordinary acting, we seek to ignite an audience’s imagination, to reach deep into the primal to send tremors through the intellect, to give birth to unforgettable moments by working in an intimate space, to touch audiences who are increasingly distanced from human contact. We readdress the classics and explore new works with passion. We give artists a home where they can shape, develop and strengthen their artistic voice.

A. Give voice to Asian American narratives that address the contemporary human condition in areas of love, family, identity and immigration issues of racism, sexism, classism and cultural assimilation. ​B. Provide performance opportunities and nurture the growth of Colorado and US Asian American actors, directors and playwrights. ​C. Promote community and understanding amongst the Asian American sectors and between it and other indigenous groups through theatre productions and other shared projects, particularly in areas of education and social justice.

The Red Door Project’s mission is to leverage the power of stories to change our racial ecology. Founded in 2011, RDP envisions a society where our differences catalyze listening, learning, and thoughtful action. Our systems approach to exploring race and human interaction provides a framework for examining root causes of problems and needed policy changes. We ask participants in our programs to engage in open dialogue, witness multiple truths, discover shared values, and consider how to apply these learnings in everyday life.

Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre's (Terminus) mission is to connect people through the beauty, power, and humanity of dance with the long-term vision of creating a terminus where Atlanta's dance meets the world.
