From its Rocky Mountain roots, Creede Repertory Theatre serves as an artistic home to our rural community and beyond, through the creation of repertory seasons, dynamic educational programs, and compelling new works.

GRIT Staff work with the child within the child's own home and/or their community preschool program. This allows everyone involved to utilize the child's most natural and comfortable learning environments to maximize their learning/therapeutic experience.

MOXIE’s mission is to create more diverse and honest images of women for our culture using the art of theatre. Through the production of primarily female playwrights and the special attention given to plays that defy female stereotypes, MOXIE expands the idea of what is feminine. Our dedication to finding work that is underproduced means we’re discovering the classics of the future. MOXIE fans know that each distinct MOXIE production will always share one similar quality – moxie. Moxie is defined as “courage, pluck, gumption, perseverance, guts.” It may be the hero of a play who embodies the term moxie, or a challenging subject matter. Perhaps a playwright has invented an original world for audiences to explore, or actors are asked to stretch to new heights and break new ground in storytelling. In whatever way it is revealed, moxie is the unifying quality that defines all of our productions.

At Mary Jane’s Cooking School, the core values are based on a belief in nurturing today for a healthier tomorrow. The primary goals of Mary Jane’s Cooking School are to promote skills in selecting, preparing and serving food for personal and family well being; and to provide education and information about nutrition, diet and a healthy living environment at home and in the community. Our home cooking classes teach basic cooking techniques using home-style recipes, including cooking with herbs and preserving foods. Mary Jane’s Cooking School also supports community businesses through purchasing policies favouring locally produced goods and services. PROJECT: MUSIC HEALS US is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide encouragement, education and healing through bringing high-quality live music performances and interactive programming to marginalized communities with limited ability to access it themselves - with a focus on elderly, disabled, rehabilitating, incarcerated, and homeless populations. Now in its fifth season, PROJECT: MUSIC HEALS US has presented close to 200 free classical music concerts, workshops, and residencies in hospitals, nursing homes, hospice centers, retirement homes, food pantries, centers for individuals with disabilities, correctional facilities, homeless shelters, and refugee camps.

The Robert Land Community Association owns and operates the Eva Rothwell Resource Centre, where we are unabashed champions and cheerleaders for some of Hamilton’s best kids. We’re a home for innovative programs and services that are helping to make our North Hamilton neighbourhood an even better place to raise a child. And we’re in the business of inspiring bigger dreams and realizing unlimited potential. Today, the Eva Rothwell Centre is home to a ever-growing number of programs and services that are helping to improve the quality of life and enhance social wellbeing for an entire North Hamilton neighbourhood and some of the city’s best people.

Alka Charitable Center is a Canadian registered charity operating in India. Its mandate is to provide financial relief to children who's parents can not afford continued education. Charity also provides free educational instruction if educated mentors are unavailable to children at home.

We believe that education is an important way of helping children grow. With an education, as children grow, they can get a job, buy a home, and become a productive part of society. With an education children gain knowledge, gain understanding, and are able to understand the world around them.
