The Los Angeles Center of Photography (LACP) enables its communities to capture, interpret and reimagine individual and cultural conflicts and the creative combustion that shape Los Angeles and influence the world.

The Plum Village Community of Engaged Buddhism, Inc. (PVCEB), formerly known as the Unified Buddhist Church, was founded in 1998 to officially represent Venerable Thich Nhat Hanh and his Sangha in the United States of America. It is the sister organization of Unified Buddhist Church (Eglise Bouddhique Unifieé - Communaute Bouddhique Zen du VDP) founded in France. PVCEB includes among its U.S. programs and operations three practice centers (Deer Park Monastery which also serves as the Administrative Head Office, Blue Cliff Monastery and Magnolia Grove Monastery), the publisher of books by Thich Nhat Hanh (Parallax Press), a fundraising arm (Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation) to continue the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and the Plum Village tradition, and the Community of Mindful Living (CML).

TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES WHICH ARE DEVOTED TO EDUCATION AND CULTURAL PURPOSES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO INCREASING COMMUNICATION BETWEEN WV PUBLIC BROADCASTING AND ITS AUDIENCE WITHIN ITS COVERAGE AREA.

Founded in 2011, The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival (AoBFF) is the only independent film festival in the world exclusively devoted to work that emerges from the vibrant and diverse Brooklyn scene. We also produce Brooklyn On Demand, the only streaming platform dedicated to showcase Brooklyn-centric film and media for free to a worldwide audience.

Through Wikipedia and its sister projects, the mission of the Wikimedia Foundation is to empower people around the world to collect and develop knowledge under a free license, and to disseminate it effectively and globally. In collaboration with a network of chapters, the Foundation provides the essential infrastructure and an organizational framework for the support and development of projects and endeavors which serve this mission.

The American Cinematheque was created to 1) honor and promote America's indigenous art form: the Moving Picture; 2) present the full range of film and video, not otherwise available, to the widest possible audience; 3) establish a forum for an on-going dialogue between filmmakers and their adiences, 4) provide high profile exhibition facilities for other independent film and video festivals and organizations; and 5) encourage and support new talent by creating a showcase for their work.

The New York Studio School is committed to giving a significant education to the aspiring artist that can last a lifetime. Our aim is to reveal to the entering student appropriate questions about drawing, painting and sculpture and to encourage them to work hard and think rigorously at all times, enabling them to construct an ethical and philosophical framework for their life's work. The graduating Certificate or MFA student leaves the School with a developed understanding of the language of art; an enlarged imagination stirred by an established work ethic, with the passion and ambition to be an artist for years to come.

QWOCMAP uses film to shatter stereotypes and bias, reveal the lived truths of inequality, and build understanding and community around art and social justice. QWOCMAP creates, exhibits, and distributes high-impact films that authentically reflect the lives of queer women of color (cisgender & transgender), and gender nonbinary and transgender people of color (of any orientation), and address the vital, intersecting social justice issues that concern multiple communities.

The Arts Council supports local artists and arts organizations through public–private partnerships, grantmaking, events, and programs that stimulate economic activity, build community, and promote the Cape Fear region as an arts destination.

CAPE champions diversity by connecting, educating, and empowering Asian American and Pacific Islander artists and leaders in entertainment and media.

Friends of WLRN, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) incorporated in 1974 and is committed to the support of WLRN Public Radio (NPR 91.3 FM, 101 FM and WKWM 91.5) and Television (PBS Channel 17) whose mission is to provide information, entertainment and life-long learning services to South Florida.
