The Kidney Foundation of Canada is the national volutneer organization committed to reducing the burden of kidney disease through: funding and stimulating innovative research; providing education and support; promoting access to quality healthcare; and increasing public awareness and commitment to advancing kidney health and organ donation.
The Military Casualty Support Foundation has been founded for the benefit of our casualties and their families, who have suffered an immeasurable loss by carrying out their duties for Canada on peacekeeping missions in war ravaged countries. In co-operation with the Ministry of Defence, our goal is to provide emergency financial relief to meet the needs of the victims of these conflicts, that are beyond government programs, as expeditiously as possible. This foundation will provide additional funding for needs such as: * psychiatric and medical care to meet the needs of the wounded, their children and/or spouses * sports equipment for permanently wounded military to enhance their lifestyle and enable them to participate in such programs as the Paralympics * any medical devices to improve their way of life and provide them the means to interact independently on a daily basis * any other requirements and/or wants as needed.

The Angel Foundation for Learning aims to ensure that all TCDSB students are equally able to participate in opportunities that sustain and enhance the educational process including: student nutrition programs, class trips, leadership activities, bursaries and funding for social work emergency needs, for instance: eyeglasses, hearing aids, food vouchers and other essentials for TCDSB students in need.
Established in 2003, the Cancer Recovery Foundation of Canada works to deliver simple acts of care and kindness to individuals and families experiencing cancer. Our programs focus on patient services and direct care to families affected by a child or parent’s cancer. We help to meet the physical, emotional and financial needs of those affected by cancer. All of our funding goes to assist patients directly.

Since 2009, The Home Depot Canada Foundation has invested more than $10-million to help improve homes and communities across Canada because we believe that good neighbours make great neighbourhoods. We support the development of affordable housing and community improvement projects that make lasting physical improvements to the neighbourhoods we serve. Our primary focus is helping the housing needs of youth through renovation and repair projects and programs that provide access to safe, stable shelter and support services.
The ELF provides training, materials and small grants to community organizations and schools across Canada in order to assist them in the development of children's literacy initiatives. ELF-supported programs have served over 13 000 children, predominantly from First Nations, new Canadian and low-income communities. We believe that literacy is the birthright of all Canadians. ELF-supported communities often report illiteracy rates of over 90%! With our support, programs serving children and youth at risk, have dramatically increased literacy rates.
