Founded in 1901, Jewish National Fund is a non-profit organization. JNF is the caretaker of the land of Israel, on behalf of its owners - Jewish people everywhere. The organization has planted over 210 million trees, built over 100 dams and reservoirs, developed over 250,000 acres of land, and created more than 400 parks throughout Israel enhancing the quality of life for all of Israel's citizens. Hearts with Haiti is invested in fostering a brighter, more sustainable future for the young people of Haiti.

Two-fold. First, reconciliation between US and it's former enemy, North Vietnam and ally South Vietnam. This is particularly focused on ARVN (South Vietnamese Army), the Viet Cong/VC and North Vietnamese Army/NVA, as well as between the two countries and its peoples. Two, VWAM's humanitarian programs and projects impact the poor and disadvantaged people of Vietnam through healthcare, medical mission teams, and heart surgeries for children. In addition, Vets With A Mission takes Vietnam veterans back to Vietnam in order to make peace with their past, and honor their service. Finally, VWAM assists and supports the Church and Christians in Vietnam through various ministry programs and projects.

We are a member-based organization. Our members elect a national Board of Directors who are responsible for setting the strategic direction of Dying With Dignity Canada. The Board has hired an Executive Director to carry out day-to-day operations and execute our strategic plan. We are funded by membership fees and donations, both of which are tax deductible. To join as a member of DWD, make your donation (minimum $10) to the membership fund.

Our programs include: Summer Breakfast Programs (July & August)servicing children who depend on school breakfast programs during the school year for their daily nutrition. December breakfasts giving children (and their families) who otherwise would not have the opportunity to experience the Christmas Season a morning especially designed for them. They receive a nutritious hot buffet breakfast, puppet show, visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus as well as other fairy tale characters, a present to take home for Christmas morning and a lifetime of cherished memories. Thanksgiving dinner, with all the trimmings, is served to the families of children attending our Summer Breakfast Program locations. Food vouchers are distributed to families in need of assistance at Christmas time.
