The Cridge Centre for the Family has a rich heritage and an even richer future. Founded in 1873 as the BC Protestant Orphan’s Home, The Cridge Centre has developed diverse programming that support families at all life stages. The Cridge Centre’s services include inclusive child care, supportive housing for families in economic or relationship crisis, a Transition House for women and children leaving domestic violence, respite and Respitality services for families of children with disabilities, outreach and support for young parents, residential and community services for survivors of Brain Injury, and Seniors’ Assisted Living Housing.

Our Vision The AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia is a PHA (People Living with HIV/AIDS)-centered, community leader committed to the creation of a positive, safe and caring environment. We celebrate and share the experiences and lives of PHA and those affected by HIV/AIDS. We celebrate ourselves through our history, the telling of our stories and living courageous lives. We demonstrate courage and commitment in the fight against HIV/AIDS. ACNS believes in the need for a sustainable, committed and coordinated response to HIV/AIDS. We believe learning is an important, ongoing process, fundamental to our growth. We believe in advocating for a just and compassionate society. As the AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia envisions and fights for a cure, we strive to promote holistic quality of life. ACNS will respond to the changes and challenges by ensuring qualified, compassionate human resources, funding, education and commitment to health promotion.

The mission of the International Children's Heart Foundation (ICHF) is to bring the skills, technology and knowledge to cure and care for children with congenital heart disease in developing nations. ICHF does this regardless of country of origin, race, religion or gender. Our goal is to make the need for ICHF obsolete. We work toward this goal through our medical mission trips, where we operate on children and educate local healthcare professionals.

Heart-Links is a small non government organization (NGO) based in London, Ontario that has worked for the past 20 years to support, through friendship and funding, several impoverished and vulnerable communities in northern Peru. We utilize a participatory model to work with these communities to identify needs and to collaborate on and financially support various community initiatives. Heart-Links works in partnership with women’s groups, community kitchens, children’s programs, adolescent programs and young adult training. Our programs develop self-esteem and leadership, educate about rights, and provide skills training. They are mainly in the areas of education, nutrition, health and income generation to promote self-sufficiency. In particular we focus on the empowerment and encouragement of women, children and youth.

We are an international and interdenominational Christian mission society working in more than 1000 locations spread out on every continent on the globe. We've been active in Quebec since 1974. We have three locations in the province, a training center in Dunham, a center focusing on urban ministry in Montreal and a team in Lanaudière.
