The Medical Benevolence Foundation helps people in developing countries get the medical care they need. Our mission is to provide physical and spiritual healing to the poor through the local church. We help the church’s medical ministries so they, in turn, can help their communities. These ministries include medical services, hospitals, clinics and nursing schools. Medical ministries create jobs. They make medical care available to some of the least- resourced places in the world. They strengthen the position of the local church as a pillar of support in the community. Donations to MBF help offset medical costs for the poor, modernize facilities and equipment, and provide supplies and medicines. Funds also help train local doctors and nurses. Spiritual ministry training is provided free for medical staff. MBF is currently working with ministries in Haiti, Kenya, Malawi and DR Congo. Our vision is to see a country-wide Christian Medical Network in each country. The network will reduce costs while improving the quality of care for patients.
Our mission is to facilitate the distribution of surplus medical resources where they are needed. As such, our programs have both a local and international focus. Goods are distributed in a non-discriminatory manner without regard to race, color, gender, religion, nationality or political beliefs. In pursuing the mission, the Board of Directors, volunteers, and staff seek t 1. Relieve human suffering 2. Demonstrate respect for all customers, clients, and patients 3. Collaborate with community organizations collectively to provide services to those in need 4. Maintain a proactive approach to improving services provided The key to WMR’s success throughout its history has been the recycling of usable medical equipment, supplies, instruments, and medications that have been collected from area physicians, hospitals, clinics, and individuals. WMR has the ability to utilize these items in our services and programs that help people all over the world. Another crucial element of World Medical Relief is the help of volunteers. Volunteers can be found in all departments of the organization; in all over 1,700 annually.
The Canadian Medical Foundation (CMF) was founded in 1987 by the Canadian Medical Association. We are the only national foundation in Canada focused solely on supporting physicians; we understand that, in order to improve health care for all Canadians, it is vital to support the physicians who deliver it. The CMF raises, invests and distributes funds via programs that are designed to improve health care for all Canadians. The CMF is unique in that, thanks to an annual operating grant from MD Physician Services, 100 per cent of all donations go directly to support our programs — programs that were developed by Canadian physicians, for physicians. CORE PROGRAMS 1. Physician Health & Well-being 2. Medical Education 3. Medical Outreach

Community - Clean Water - Christ's LoveMarion Medical Mission (MMM) is an ecumenical, Christian, front-line, hand-on, volunteer non-profit organization that responds to Christ's call to serve by working hand in hand with God's people in Africa. We show the love of Christ through projects that directly impact the African people, stressing self-help and sustainability. Since 1990, over 53,000 wells have been built providing over 5 million people with clean, sustainable sources of safe drinking water. Village communities make the brick and provide the sand, stone, and unskilled labor. MMM provides only what the villagers cannot: the cement, Mark V galvanized steel pump, and skilled African labor. An MMM well is one the villages know how to maintain and can afford to maintain.
