We help install and monitor barrier fencing and culverts to reduce road mortality of amphibians in coastal British Columbia. We monitor how well these mitigation efforts work to improve habitat connectivity. We also help protect wetlands from habitat destruction, pollution, invasive species, and disease. We share information and promote stewardship of wetland habitats through public slideshows, workshops, school programs and by providing scientific advice to land owners and local planning departments. We highlight the connection between productive wetland habitat, water quality and human health in our presentations.
The Maple Ridge Community Foundation is a public foundation established by and for the people of Maple Ridge. We're passionate about connecting people, ideas and resources through community philanthropy. We work to make giving easy by providing ways to connect donors with causes that matter in their own community, and facilitating individual, corporate and foundation philanthropy. We believe in the power of individuals, charitable organizations and corporations working together for positive change. A gift of any amount creates a legacy that addresses the needs of our community today and tomorrow. Help create a better Maple Ridge forever by making a donation today.

Most patients are the 60% of the Mexican population who are not eligible for Mexican Social Security medical care.
