The Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land is a worldwide organization founded in 1994 under the auspices of the Franciscan Custody of the Holy Land. The Foundation was created to strengthen and support Christianity in the Holy Land through the preservation of holy Christian sites and the support of the basic human rights and continued presence of the Christian minority living in the Holy Land.
Our co-founder Marion Austin strongly believed in empowering our Haitian children with the tools that they need to succeed, knowing they could one day become Christian leaders and role models in the Haitian society.
The main purpose of the Project for the People of Paraguay is to help the poor of Paraguay move from poverty to independence by implementing and/or supporting self-help, self-development programs that involve the family and their communities. The PPP emphasizes the care of the total person by meeting the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of poor families. The PPP commits to help people embrace a strong personal faith, to lead productive lives, and to create healthy families and communities
The Advocacy Centre for The Elderly is a community based legal clinic for low income senior citizens. ACE is managed by a volunteer board of directors at least half of whom are seniors. ACE is funded through Legal Aid Ontario and is the first legal clinic in Canada to specialize in the legal problems of seniors. ACE provides direct legal services to low-income seniors, public legal education, and engages in law reform activities. ACE services and activities are in relation to areas of law of special importance to the seniors' population.

Founded in 1950 as an alternative to sign language education, the Montreal Oral School for the Deaf is the first and only school of its kind in Montreal and is one of only three in all of Canada. With the use of technology - hearing aids and cochlear implants - the school provides habilitation, education and support for children with hearing loss from infancy to early adulthood. The school's multidisciplinary approach ensures students and their families receive free of charge linguistic, cognitive, social and emotional support in specialized school settings, in neighborhood schools and at home.
Vocational,educational,cultural and therapeutic experiences are provided through residential home care and day activities within the urban setting of Vancouver's North Shore.

The Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre is an aquarium and marine education centre focused on the amazing ecosystem of the Salish Sea. It houses 17 massive aquarium habitats teeming with live marine life –- giant Pacific octopus to microscopic plankton. Over 250 volunteers, known as 'Oceaneers', guide visitors through the marine habitats, provide in-depth knowledge of exhibits, and assist with school programs for thousands of students each year. The Centre operates as a not-for-profit community facility that is self-supporting through admission fees, grants and donations. It is located on the spectacular waterfront in Sidney, British Columbia.
• Since 1954 (54 years) CIC has welcomed to Ottawa more than 80,000 newcomers of many religions and backgrounds from every part of the world. • CIC operates from 2 locations in Ottawa with 50 staff, a budget of almost $3M, all supported by over 600 volunteers. CIC provides: • temporary shelter and housing assistance to incoming refugees and homeless immigrants, • orientation, settlement and integration services to newcomers, • Canadian friends for newcomers, • help in organizing sponsorships, • actions to prevent families from being evicted from their homes, • assistance to foreign trained professionals, • assistance to the Ottawa Police Service to improve relationships between the Service and immigrant communities. • CIC established the Catholic Immigration Centre Foundation (CICF) in 1997 as a fundraising organization in support of CIC. • The Catholic Immigration Centre is the agency of choice for refugees in Ottawa
The Niagara Centre for Independent Living is a resource and self-help centre run by and for people with disabilities. Focussing on personal development and community education, NCIL strives to support people with disabilities by developing opportunities that assist them in achieving their personal goals in obtaining and maintaining their independence. The Niagara Centre for Independent Living is cross-disability, meaning it provides assistance to any person with any disability. A non-profit, community-based charity, NCIL is a community resource available to consumers, their family and friends, other service providers and to the community. We actively work to facilitate the full integration and participation of persons with disabilities into society, and believe that it is people with disabilities themselves who are best able to decide their future.
