The mission of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is to provide impartial medical relief to the victims of war, disease, and natural or man-made disaster, without regard to race, religion, or political affiliation. A non-profit, self-governed, member-based organisation, MSF's global reach is demonstrated by a presence in over 72 countries and territories with medical humanitarian projects, 9,904,200 medical consultations conducted by humanitarian teams, and 877,300 patients admitted to MSF hospitals or clinics around the world.

Founded by Sean Penn and Ann Lee, CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) was initially established as J/P HRO in response to the devastating 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Since then, CORE has scaled exponentially as a global humanitarian organization working to meet the growing needs of vulnerable communities worldwide. We’ve worked on five continents responding to natural disasters, conflict, food insecurity, disease outbreaks, climate change, and public health emergencies. Powered by local staff, CORE adapts our programs to the dynamic needs of communities as they evolve in and beyond crises. We’re a nimble organization that quickly adapts to communities’ needs as they evolve. Our efforts are fueled by local hands, and we partner with local leaders, organizations, governments, and other stakeholders to bring equitable relief directly to those who need it most.

Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing Gods love through His son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. The American Red Cross, through its strong network of volunteers, donors and partners, is always there in times of need. We aspire to turn compassion into action so that all people affected by disaster across the country and around the world receive care, shelter and hope; our communities are ready and prepared for disasters; everyone in our country has access to safe, lifesaving blood and blood products; all members of our armed services and their families find support and comfort whenever needed; and in an emergency, there are always trained individuals nearby, ready to use their Red Cross skills to save lives. The American Red Cross' fundamental principles are: Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity, and Universality. Our motto, "You Have the Power to Save a Life" is built upon and reflects such these values.

Established in 2005, GEANCO saves and transforms lives in Africa. We conduct complex surgical missions to Nigeria, and through our system of modern, solar-powered maternal and family health clinics, we help poor, vulnerable pregnant women safely deliver healthy babies. Our David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship for Girls provides tuition, healthcare, and social & psychological support to young female survivors of terrorism and gender inequality in Nigeria. United Way works to improve communities in Southeastern New Brunswick (Kent, Westmorland and Albert counties). It creates long-term, sustainable change; moving people from poverty to possibility, creating strong communities, and ensuring that kids be all that kids can be. Working for over 60 years in southeastern New Brunswick, United Way partners with over 28 community organizations and funds over 30 programs and initiatives to make this change possible.

We are an international group of civilian volunteers securing protective gear and life-saving equipment, delivered directly into the hands of those who need it most. We are currently focused on supporting our initiative, Ukraine Aid Ops, where we are securing and delivering protective gear and life-saving equipment into the hands of freedom's defenders on the frontlines in Ukraine. All officers and board are fully unpaid volunteers, so the maximum percentage of donor aid arrives where it's needed most.

The Military Police Fund for Blind Children was founded in 1957 and specializes in assisting visually impaired Canadian children up to the age of 21. The fund is operated entirely by Canadian Military Police volunteers.

What is the philosophy of Conductive Education? Conductive education is neither therapy, treatment nor cure. It recognizes motor disorders as chronic conditions which result in problems of learning or relearning which will respond to appropriate teaching. Conductive Education fully acknowledges that children or adults with motor disorders may have continuing medical needs, which will benifit from appropriate medical intervention. This does not deny the needs for teaching and learning. Conductive Education asserts that there is much more to living and development than the medical and the social. There is the phycological too and, as in every sphere of human life, this is best addressed by education in its wildest sense. Further, as in all excellent education, the goal of Conductive Education is to create autonomous learners who go on to learn, adapt and develop under their own direction, because that is how they now are.
