The Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary (CCGA) is a nonprofit organisation and a registered charity made up of volunteer resources throughout Canada. The CCGA has been in existence since 1978 and provides assistance to the Coast Guard and the National Defense with search and rescue and safe boating programs. Among numerous recognitions, the CCGA received in 1997 the Award of excellence for an outstanding contribution to transportation in Canada. In 1998, the Chief Executive Officer of the Auxiliary was also presented with the Outstanding SAR Achievement Award from the National Search and Rescue Secretariat.

The Down Syndrome Association - National Capital Region (DSA-NCR) is a non-profit group made up of individuals working to enhance the quality of life for people with Down Syndrome and to provide assistance and support to their parents and friends. The purpose of this community is to provide a means to share information and ideas, and to provide support among members of the DSA-NCR.

Friends offer high quality heritage tourism programs and experiences including the development and presentation of educational programs and special events, as well as, coordinating collaborative work on park improvement projects. - Jasper Trail Alliance (volunteers lending a hand to support Jasper's great trail network) - Self-guided brochures and Guided Historical Walks - Bird watching programs and bird banding - Full Moon and Mysteries of the Night Hikes - Junior Naturalist for kids and volunteer trail days for youth and adults. - Park improvement projects including: Cavell Meadows Restoration, Jasper Discovery Trail Interpretive Signage, Jasper Townsite Trail Maps, Pyramid Island Restoration and Interpretive Project, Columbia Icefield Interpretive Signage Project and Driver's for Wildlife. - Special Events: Moonlight Madness, Parks Day, Christmas Bird Count and partnering with community activities.
