CALGARY HOMELESS FOUNDATION

The Calgary Homeless Foundation leads the implementation of Calgary’s 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness. Issued in January 2008, Calgary’s 10 Year Plan was created by the Calgary Committee to End Homelessness, a community-based, multi-stakeholder, leadership group, who issued the Plan and selected the Foundation to implement the Plan. The Foundation is moving forward on the 10 Year Plan in partnership with the many homeless serving agencies, the private sector, our government partners, the faith community, other foundations and all Calgarians to end homelessness in Calgary once and for all.

Hamilton Conservation Foundation

The Hamilton Conservation Foundation was founded as a registered charity in 1976. The charitable number is 859975617 RR0001. The Foundation exists to raise support and funding for the Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA)and has done so for more than 36 years. The HCA is legislated under the Ontario Conservations Authorities’ Act, 1946 and charged with the duty of managing renewable natural resources on a watershed basis. The Foundation raises capital and endowment funds, and will accept gifts of cash, securities, land and relevant in-kind donations. The Foundation gratefully accepts bequests and other Legacy gifts.

Foundation of Stars

Over the years, the Foundation of Stars has become the most important source of non-governmental funding of pediatric research in Quebec. Since its creation in 1977, the Foundation has contributed more than $60,000,000 to pediatric research. The Foundation has chosen to support the dedicated worth of scientists and to fund promising research projects at the following pediatric research centres: the “ CHU Sainte-Justine“, the Montreal Children’s Hospital, the “Centre hospitalier universitaire de Québec”, and the “Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke”.
