The Dreamcatcher Charitable Foundation is independent and is governed by a Board of Directors. The Dreamcatcher Foundation will contribute to eligible applicants in the areas of: Sports & Recreation, Educational Support, Health Support and Arts and Culture. A Community Foundation is an opportunity for people of all means to make a lasting difference in their community. Community Foundations do this by providing donors with flexible ways to ensure their charitable giving achieves the greatest possible impact.

The Calgary Homeless Foundation leads the implementation of Calgary’s 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness. Issued in January 2008, Calgary’s 10 Year Plan was created by the Calgary Committee to End Homelessness, a community-based, multi-stakeholder, leadership group, who issued the Plan and selected the Foundation to implement the Plan. The Foundation is moving forward on the 10 Year Plan in partnership with the many homeless serving agencies, the private sector, our government partners, the faith community, other foundations and all Calgarians to end homelessness in Calgary once and for all.

The Hamilton Conservation Foundation was founded as a registered charity in 1976. The charitable number is 859975617 RR0001. The Foundation exists to raise support and funding for the Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA)and has done so for more than 36 years. The HCA is legislated under the Ontario Conservations Authorities’ Act, 1946 and charged with the duty of managing renewable natural resources on a watershed basis. The Foundation raises capital and endowment funds, and will accept gifts of cash, securities, land and relevant in-kind donations. The Foundation gratefully accepts bequests and other Legacy gifts.

The Urban Systems Foundation was established in 1999 as part of Urban Systems Ltd. The Foundation serves as a vehicle for our people to give back to their communities – a tangible expression of the spirit of generosity and appreciation which is integral to Urban Systems’ way of being. The Mental Health Foundation is an non-profit organization dedicated to helping those afflicted by mental health issues and addiction find the care and supports they need. While raising funds for community projects the Mental Health Foundation advocates for a better understanding of mental health and addiction issues and provides a directory of mental health services for those in need. The Mental Health Foundation is an Alberta-based organization servicing the Edmonton and surrounding area.

Hamilton Community Foundation (HCF) is a public foundation which receives donated funds from generous citizens, invests those funds to generate income, and makes grants from the income earned across all sectors and the community and beyond. HCF also brings people together to convene solutions to some of Hamilton’s most pressing challenges. HCF has assets in excess of $115 million dollars and since 1954 has made grants of $39.0 million. Toronto Arts Foundation is a charitable organization that provides the opportunity for individuals, private and public foundations, corporations, and government agencies to invest in and strengthen the arts in Toronto. Over the years, the Foundation of Stars has become the most important source of non-governmental funding of pediatric research in Quebec. Since its creation in 1977, the Foundation has contributed more than $60,000,000 to pediatric research. The Foundation has chosen to support the dedicated worth of scientists and to fund promising research projects at the following pediatric research centres: the “ CHU Sainte-Justine“, the Montreal Children’s Hospital, the “Centre hospitalier universitaire de Québec”, and the “Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke”.
