Located at 374 University Avenue,Charlottetown, PEI Canada, ODM is a community connection for incarcerated, addicted, abused and isolated women providing opportunities and programming for women to receive assistance to deal with repetitive cycles of negative behaviour. Our outreach into the community has offered hope and healing to many who find themselves marginalized. We offer 1-1 accountability and mentoring as well as Support Groups such as “Getting Real", "How to Avoid Dating a Jerk" and "The Key2Me!" which run for 5 or 6 week terms in the Provincial Correctional Centre, our ministry centre as well as other community locals. We have a clothing room to help with emergency clothing needs and a Back Pack program providing a kit of personal hygiene products for those getting out of jail or just needing a fresh start. Open Door Ministries offers practical support, programming and numerous other vital services at no cost or pre-condition. We receive no government core funding.

We operate a Drop In Centre for the homeless, hungry and hurting. Drop In Hours: Mon - Fri 1:00 to 4:00 (Closed stats and the last business day of the month.) A hot nutritious lunch is served daily. There are music and movies on the big screen TV, the daily papers for job searches, free local calls, internet for resume building and connecting with family, free stamps for mailing letters and resumes, free clothing and household goods, and a Christian lending library. We have a committed group of staff and volunteers that bring a smile and hope to our guests. Rev Ken offers one-on-one pastoral counselling. Rev Ken & Michelle Porter have 20 years experience in the field of addictions recovery. They have assisted over 100 men and women off the streets and into a new life. PARC works with members on issues of poverty, mental health, addictions, homelessness, and food security. Members access services and develop relationships with our staff and one another through four core areas of operation: a drop-in centre, a peer-support program, an outreach program and supportive housing. The idea of PARC was born in 1977 when a group of volunteers observed the large number of adults living in Parkdale rooming houses and boarding homes. Many were survivors of the psychiatric system, had little money, few family contacts and no real place to go and connect with peers. The simple act of walking through our doors is what makes a person a PARC member. Choosing to give back, create and grow is how PARC members contribute and help build our community. Within a shifting urban landscape, PARC also acts as a hub and meeting place for various agencies, enterprises and partners who strive to create lasting social change in Parkdale and beyond.

Marina del Rey Station is one of 23 patrol stations within the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, which is the largest sheriff’s department in the world.  The department operates in the courts, custody facilities, patrol stations, detective assignments, and other special operations within the county.   Marina del Rey Station provides police services for the unincorporated communities of Marina del Rey, Ladera Heights, View Park, and Windsor Hills.  Within the combined 6.3 square miles of patrol area, Marina del Rey Station serves a population of over 26,000 people.  Marina del Rey Station boat operations are the only 24 hour law enforcement entity patrolling the waters of Los Angeles County, including the 72 miles of coastline from Ventura County to the North and Orange County to the South.  Our primary patrol waters include Marina del Rey Harbor and the Santa Monica Bay.  The Marina del Rey Station patrol area borders the jurisdictions of the Los Angeles Police Department (77th, South-West, and Pacific Divisions), Culver City Police Department, and Inglewood Police Department.  We appreciate the opportunity to serve our community and the support we have earned from our residents, businesses, and community members and leaders.

To develop a Health Education Programme designed to improve the quality of life through preventative measures. To conduct training programmes for Community Health Workers in collaboration with other community based organizations and donor agencies. To establish a Centre of Excellence for the treatment of Tuberculosis (in line with WHOs, DOT programme), Hepatitis-C and other Infectious Diseases. To provide immediate relief in case of natural disasters and calamities and also to take active part in rehabilitation of the affected population.

Embrace Global is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to reducing neonatal mortality by ensuring that every baby—no matter where they are born—has access to life-saving warmth. Our mission is both simple and urgent: to provide innovative, portable incubators to the world’s most vulnerable newborns. Our vision is a world where no baby dies from preventable causes like hypothermia due to lack of access to basic care. Founded in 2007 by a team of Stanford students, Embrace developed a groundbreaking portable incubator designed specifically for low-resource settings, humanitarian emergencies, and conflict zones. These reusable devices require only an occasional power source to function, making them ideal for environments with unstable electricity. Unlike traditional incubators, Embrace incubators are easy to use, easy to clean, and built to withstand rugged conditions. What sets Embrace apart is our delivery model: -Our incubators are provided at no cost to trusted partners, ensuring equitable access for populations affected by poverty, displacement, or crisis. -We scale through partnerships with UN agencies, Ministries of Health, diaspora medical associations, and international NGOs such as CARE, UNICEF, and IRC. -We deploy rapidly and sustainably, working both in immediate emergency contexts and to strengthen local health systems for long-term impact. To date, Embrace has helped save over 1 million newborns across 25+ countries, including Ukraine, Syria, Gaza, Yemen, Zambia, and Armenia.

OBAT Helpers works for the welfare, support, and rehabilitation of displaced and stateless people by providing programs to alleviate the daily suffering and burdens of thousands of Urdu speaking people (known as "Biharis") who are stranded in makeshift camps in Bangladesh. OBAT Helpers implements projects in education and vocational training, self- empowerment through micro-financing, health care with clinics, drinking water, proper sewerage, and emergency relief projects. The Biharis have been stranded in Bangladesh since it achieved independence from Pakistan in 1971. Referred to as, astranded Pakistanis,a this community was supposed to be repatriated to Pakistan after the two countries separated but most of them could not due to political complications. They are presently citizens of nowhere, unclaimed by either country and marked by the UNHCR as refugees, yet deprived of the rights of refugees. They still live in the camps/slums that were supposed to serve as their temporary shelter forty years ago. This population is scattered across sixty-six camps which house around 300,000 people. Anyone visiting these camps would see a family of 7-10 people sharing a living space of 8x10 ft.; open sewers and overflowing drains; a single toilet or two for one hundred or so people; innocent six or seven year olds who should be in schools, working for a living; high-infant mortality rates due to absence of medical facilities; lack of clean drinking water; terrible or no sanitation facilities and nothing but abject poverty. OBAT Helpers is the only organization in North America which is committed to helping the Biharis to become self-reliant and empowered through proper education, health care and micro financing projects. OBAT started with providing help to one camp in 2004, and now, it is improving the lives of people in more than 30 out of the total 66 camps, after just six years. This is almost half of the total number of camps in Bangladesh.

Global One Foundation (Global One) is a non-governmental, international aid organization. Global One is recognized for its unique focus on holistic education, sustainable farming for increased food supply and food security for residents and orphans of Kibera Kenya in Africa's largest urban settlement/slum. Oneness is a term used that depicts both the basis and the goal for human beings living in one community sharing a world system. Oneness includes all living beings and is based on universal transpersonal principles and insights undergirding all the worlds Wisdom traditions. Overcoming ignorance through meditative reflection, study, and the development of compassion and virtue, for the benefit of all beings. Global One aims to provide a developmental support system for those living in extreme poverty, esp. orphans and at risk populations unable to self-direct a future. Global One Schools are fully approved by the Kenyan National Exam Council as examination sites, providing chartered Global One's work contributes to co-create generational change. Global One Schools aim to reduce mental and emotional suffering, through mindfulness and TM Meditation training and PTSD relief to help victims of political and social violence, tribal conflict, and trauma of extreme poverty. Global One Schools work with the Global Oneness Farm as recipients of its own food supply through farming crops for breakfast and lunches to all students. The Global Oneness Farm provides 1,400 meals per day. The Global One Food program is in partnership with Start Somewhere Organization, www.startsomewhere.eu who provide resources for the food program and cooking materials. Afrika Tikkun was founded in 1994 soon after the emergence of Democracy in South Africa. Our visionary founders-- the late Chief Rabbi Cyril Harris and philanthropist and businessman, late Bertie Lubner-- had a vision of focusing on children knowing they represented the future of the country, which inspired the-then President Nelson Mandela to volunteer as our Patron-in-Chief-- an honor that he only bestowed on four organizations during his lifetime. In 2002 he wrote: “Afrika Tikkun demonstrates in a practical and sustainable manner what can be done with limited resources, great commitment and passion. It is my belief that Afrika Tikkun represents the best of what civil society can offer in partnership with Government’s considerable efforts.” For the last 22 years, Afrika Tikkun has worked to redress the consequences of institutionalized oppression in South Africa. Himalayan Human Rights Monitors (HimRights) is a non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit organization committed to defending the rights of poor, marginalized and socially excluded communities and individuals, with a special focus on women, children and youth. HimRights works in affiliation with all major human rights institutions based in Nepal and abroad, pursuing a three fold approach of (1) monitoring, reporting and responding to human rights violations; and (2) promoting good governance and (3) advocating and training for policy change rights based approach, influence, awareness raising, and capacity building to cope with and respond to changing human rights dynamics in Nepal. HimRights was informally formed in mid 1990s and was officially registered in 1999. The current team consists of lawyers, teachers, journalists, anthropologists, conflict and development specialists, social workers and human rights activists. Together, these individuals bring decades of individual and collective professional experience to HimRights, enabling HimRights to work effectively in the areas of human rights, anti- trafficking and safe migration, good governance, conflict mitigation, reconciliation, and peace building. Population focus Minorities (indigenous Janajati and Dalit) uprooted, displaced, and specially-abled who are marginalized with special focus on women, children and youth, who transcend all categories.
