The Canadian Olympic Foundation raises funds to support current Olympians, future Olympians and the Sport System in Canada. Our commitment to high performance sport in Canada is delivered through our current priority programs for funding, which fall under three categories: 1. Winners – our current Olympians 2. Podium Pipeline – Future Olympians 3. Builders – the Sport System in Canada

We are a community foundation created by and for the residents of Nelson and the surrounding area. We also administer community funds created by nearby communities: the Slocan Valley Legacy Fund, the Salmo Valley Fund and the Community Fund of North Kootenay Lake. We are here to help individuals and groups make an ongoing difference in their communities. When you give to a fund within Osprey Community Foundation, your money is never spent. Instead, it is added to a growing, income-earning pool of capital. Each year the earnings on that capital flow back into our communities though grants to local charities. Your donation is like an apple tree - once planted, the tree will keep providing harvests for year after year. It's a gift that keeps on giving. Osprey grants support services for seniors, fund youth programs, provide scholarships, feed the hungry, support the arts, improve the health and safety of our citizens, and much more.

Global Smile Foundation (GSF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global access to integrated cleft care so that no child suffers needlessly from untreated cleft lip/palate, especially underserved patients in low- to middle-income countries. Our mission is to provide world class cleft care to underserved patients from birth to adulthood and empower cleft providers through training and education.

Child Health Foundation was established in 1985 to prevent and treat life-threatening communicable diseases of infants and children in the United States and abroad. We plan and support research to develop new health care technologies for children and disseminate the results through our network worldwide. We have been instrumental in supporting grassroots innovation and education for communities and health professionals so that they are prepared to intervene in saving children's lives.

The American Pakistan Foundation (APF) empowers the Pakistani American community and builds bridges between the United States and Pakistan. APF promotes its mission through hosting initiatives that promote cultural, professional, and intellectual exchanges; convening and engaging with think tanks, educational institutions, businesses, and the public sector; sharing the contributions and perspectives of Pakistanis and the Pakistani American community; and connecting people and institutions in Pakistan and the United States for collaboration across multiple sectors.

Ste. Anne's Hospital Foundation is a non-profit organization which raises funds to contribute to the quality of life of the residents and out-patients of Ste. Anne’s Hospital; support the development of technology in health care services by allowing for research, the advancement of knowledge, and the development of specific areas of expertise at Ste. Anne's Hospital; and further the respect for the particular identity of the Veterans by supporting commemoration in order to ensure the remembrance of the sacrifices endured by all who served our country.

The AIDWYC Foundation operates as the main fundraising organization for AIDWYC in order to support the charitable activities of AIDWYC: (1) to provide legal services for more clients with greater immediacy and efficiency, such as paying for the costly but essential services of investigators and expert advisors, (2) to provide financial assistance to low-income clients for the necessities of life, (3) to raise public awareness of the criminal law and the judicial process and (4) to support educational initiatives that help to address the causes of wrongful convictions.

Compassion House Foundation operates Sorrentino's Compassion House a haven for women travelling to Edmonton for breast cancer treatment. Sorrentino's Compassion House is a safe, caring and affordable place to stay. Guests find comfort and support in the company of others who are facing similar challenges. Sorrentino's Compassion House offers 14 comfortable, private guest suites and shared facilities including a fully equipped kitchen, exercise room, library, resource room, hobby room and internet access.

The Adaptive Sports Foundation aims to: Improve the quality of life of the participants, thanks to their leisure times, improve their rehabilitation, have family programming and develop competitive training, Continue to offer the best service possible to all its clients suffering handicaps, Continue to offer the most enrich program at an affordable price, Continue to establish bonds with other health and education professionals, Improve the level of service on the national and international scale in offering a formation to other professionals in the field of adaptable leisure.

Sonna Etienne Foundation’s mission is to foster, develop and nurture Sonna Etienne’s social vision and development priorities throughout his lifetime. We do this by helping underserved communities move towards economic welfare, building stronger education systems that will provide education or life skills to everyone, supporting access to quality education as a recognition of youth’s enormous potential and the right to a better future and providing them with the skills they need to recover, chart their own path to self-reliance and become first accountable to their growth and development in a globalized context.

The Canadian Constitution Foundation (CCF) acts as a voice for freedom in Canada’s courtrooms and law schools. Through education and litigation, the CCF supports: Individual freedom: the “fundamental freedoms” in section 2 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms: - freedom of association; - freedom of peaceful assembly; - freedom of conscience and religion; - freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression. Economic liberty: the right to earn a living, and to own and enjoy property. Equality before the law: Charter section 15 guarantees equal rights and equal opportunities for all Canadians; special privileges for none.
