NPH USA, formerly Friends of the Orphans, transforms the lives of abandoned and disadvantaged children with homes, healthcare and educational programs, making a positive impact in Latin America and the Caribbean. NPH USA support Nuestros Peque os Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for "Our Little Brothers and Sisters"). Together, we create families for life and teach children the values of unconditional love, shared responsibility and helping others. Our donors help children overcome poverty and become leaders in their own communities. Since its founding in 1954, NPH has assisted more than 20,000 children and is currently raising more than 3,400 boys and girls in nine countries. An additional 2,300 students who live outside the homes receive scholarships, meals and health care. Over 99,000 services were provided through community outreach programs in 2015.

L.I.F.E. For Health seeks out small-scale, high-impact projects that deal with the underlying causes of poverty and poor health, assisting individuals and communities achieve sustainable, long-term improvements. We currently have active projects in the Philippines and Rwanda. L.I.F.E. For Health is run by a volunteer Board of Directors and is staffed by volunteer members. All of our profits go to our projects.

Goals 1.To unite Animal-Assisted Support Services Stakeholders to identify core values and common priorities to create synergy that stimulates collaborative action in the spirit of cooperation and inclusiveness. 2.To inspire a consistent level of quality, safety, and satisfaction of those served. Animal Assisted Support Services (AASS) Animal Assisted Support Services are programs and services where the animal becomes the means used in treatment or for assistance to improve functional capabilities and quality of life. Who Benefits? Individuals facing physical, intellectual, emotional, behavioral, developmental, and social challenges benefit from Animal Assisted Support Services. Services are tailored to meet the special needs of those served.

The BC SPCA is a provincial non-profit organization funded primarily by public donations. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and to promote the welfare of animals through a wide range of services, including cruelty investigations, emergency rescue and treatment, sheltering and adoption of homeless and abused animals, humane education, advocacy, farm animal welfare, spay/neuter programs, and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
