St Thomas Crime Stoppers is a volunteer organization serving St Thomas and Aylmer, Ontario to raise funds for education and pay TIPS in the prevention of crime.

The Lakeside Fire Department's mission is to protect and preserve the life and property, in the prevention and extextinguishment of fires, and promp emergency response to accidents, catastrophes, and other calls for assistance.

Telecare Peterborough is a grass-roots organization offering distressed, lonely, overwhelmed and suicidal individuals immediate, confidential and anonymous contact by telephone with someone who cares. The telephone distress line is available 24 hours a day, every day. Where appropriate, callers are referred to other community resources. Telecare Peterborough also offers reassurance calls. Approximately 70 trained volunteers take shifts each month. Telecare Peterborough handles around 13 000 calls a year.

The department is a volunteer fire organization that provides fire suppression and rescue services for the Warwick Fire District; it trains and equips members, runs public fire-safety and prevention programs, conducts drills, and inspects properties for fire-code compliance.

Guatemala Village Health partners with rural Mayan communities in Guatemala to improve village and individual health by providing primary-care clinics, training local health providers, preventive and nutrition programs, and community education—working to build sustainable, locally led health services.

ORPHANetwork rescues abandoned, abused, and orphaned children, and prevents vulnerable children from becoming abandoned through the local Nicaraguan church. We create opportunities for new life for each child we serve, and share the good news of Jesus Christ with everyone we encounter.
