Transitions is located in St. Albert, Alberta and provides services to people with disabilities of all ages and their families. Early Intervention provides support and information to families of young children up to 3 1/2 years of age. Family Services offers support and information through in-home and out-of-home relief/respite services, as well as specialized child focused supports. Community Living includes staffing supports to assist adults to live in their own homes and work/participate in community life.

The Alberta Emerald Foundation is a small charity making a large impact on the environmental landscape in Alberta. With a staff of just 1.5 employees and fantastic volunteer support, the AEF facilitates several unique and inspiring programs each year. Our flagship program is the Emerald Awards, celebrating environmental achievements in Alberta. Complimenting this program is our Sharing Stories communications strategy, where we share stories of our environmental heroes with the broader public. Additionally, we organize Emerald Day events in communities across the province as well as provide micro-grants to youth who are engaging in the environment.
