World Children's Initiative, Inc., is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to improving medical and educational systems for children in developing areas worldwide. Established in 2005, WCI grew from the experience of three young professionals of South Asian descent during their visit to Sri Lanka in February 2005. For Dr. Kanishka Ratnayaka, who is an ethnic Sinhalese, and Mr. Pratheepan Gulasekaram, an ethnic Tamil, the service mission was a deeply personal matter undertaken to aid friends,and family. The two men reached across the frontlines of a bloody, decades-long civil war to collaborate in the relief effort. The group of friends visited relief camps and orphanages to provide medical assistance at makeshift treatment centers. In addition, they brought school supplies and clothes to orphanages on the hard-hit eastern shore of the island. While providing immediate relief, the group also surveyed potential long-term projects for improvement of pediatric health care. Based on this assessment the team decided to initiative their maiden initiative, Project Peds: Sri Lanka.  Project Peds designed and constructed a new children's hospital in Matara, Sri Lanka, an area hard-hit by the tsunami. Currently, WCI is launching its second initiative, Project Heart: Uganda, aiming to improve screening and treatment of childhood heart disease in Uganda and east Africa.

Founded in 2008, our goal is to connect compassionate people with well run programs supporting orphans and at-risk kids in the United States and around the globe.

We work in six regions located in Africa, Asia, Asia Pacific, Europe Latin and North America & the Caribbean. WBU programs and activities reflect the following six priority areas: 1. Promoting equalization of opportunities and full participation in society for blind and partially sighted persons. 2. Enhancing empowerment and self-esteem of blind and partially sighted persons. 3. To be an international resource on issues relating to vision loss. 4. Providing an international forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of vision loss. 5. Strengthening programs and services related to the education, health, welfare, social security, rehabilitation and general well-being of blind and partially sighted people. 6. Promoting prevention of blindness initiatives. The work of the WBU is carried out by working groups & committees made up of volunteers from our membership who bring their skills and expertise from various sectors to enhance our capacity.

Established in 2005, The GEANCO Foundation saves and transforms lives in Africa. We conduct complex surgical missions and run an innovative program to fight anemia in Nigeria. Through our system of modern, solar-powered rural maternal clinics, we help poor, vulnerable pregnant women safely deliver healthy babies. In addition to donating laptops, tablets, books, medicine and sports facilities to schools, our David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship for Girls provides full tuition, healthcare, and social & psychological support to young female survivors of terrorism and gender inequality in Nigeria. Afam Onyema graduated cum laude from Harvard University and Stanford Law School and declined multiple lucrative corporate law offers to lead GEANCO full-time. In 2020, he was named one of the Top Ten Most Influential Africans in the Diaspora.

Our material and supplies save lives, alleviate suffering, restore dignity, and provide the foundation for further economic, political, and social development. Give to the World is a non-profit organization that delivers critical material overseas to desperate people living in conflict zones through legitimate organizations who partner with the United Nations, United States, and European union.

Volunteers Around the World (VAW) is a humanitarian organization and social enterprise devoted to improving the standard of living for those that live in some of the most poverty stricken communities of the world. Our focus is to provide communities with access to medical, dental and veterinary treatment, medication, nutritional security, clean water and health education.

World Dance for Humanity bridges cultures through movement and helps people in need by supporting small, sustainable, grassroots projects locally and in the developing world. All charitable donations and class fees go to underserved communities where a small amount of money can inspire hope and change lives, and where we can develop deep connections to the people we serve.

The World Health and Education Network (WHEN) is dedicated to helping improve education and healthcare throughout the world. WHEN started to raise funds for the charity Calcutta Rescue in Kolkata, India, but it has since expanded its support for a number of non-profit organizations. Their mission can be summed up in one question: WHEN will everyone have access to high-quality education and healthcare?

Our mission at Green World Health Network is to improve health and at the same time create a more sustainable planet. We believe that our future as a people and planet depends on identifying and strengthening the connections between health, quality of life, and the environment. We work towards this goal by implementing innovative projects which utilize green technologies and practices to improve health and quality of life in under-resourced communities in the US and throughout the world.
