VIDA is a non-profit organization providing dual service to both Latin America and Northern California by collecting surplus medical supplies and equipment from health institutions, diverting them from landfills, and shipping them to Latin American hospitals and clinics that rely on such donations for the provision of basic health care.

The Epilepsy Association of Calgary is a charitable organization that provides Support Services to anyone with, or concerned with epilepsy. We also provide Community Education on epilepsy, seizure recognition and first aid, and importantly - attempt to eliminate fear and stigma that have commonly surrounded epilepsy. A number of volunteer opportunites are also available. The Epilepsy Association of Calgary operates a satellite office in Red Deer, Alberta to serve Central Albertans affected by epilepsy. The Provincial Office of YWAM Alberta oversees the ministry activities of our YWAM locations in Alberta. These locations include three training centres where Canadian and International youth receive Biblical instruction in missions and take that cross culturally on 2-3 month field assignments. There is also mission mobilization work in Edmonton and Calgary and a church planting effort among the local Vietnamese people.

The Lending Journey primarily supports women in Latin American countries that have found themselves abandoned by their husbands and are left to raise their children without any support. We give small micro loans to these women and provide them with the necessary training to ensure their success. The loan are repaid in 26 weeks at which point we recycle the funds to a new borrower

Our goal is to bring tree equity to communities that lack natural tree canopy by establishing tiny native forests in and around the Chicago metropolitan area.​We use the Miyawaki method of tree planting to bring the benefits of forests to more communities. Our goal is to improve tree equity as defined by American Forests.​Everyone deserves trees and the health, climate and social benefits they provide.

Park-To-Park Trail is a regional initiative to create a 230 km east-west recreation trail through Parry Sound, Muskoka, and Haliburton. The route will connect several provincial parks, communities and ammenities to provide trail users with an unforgetable trail experience. As a link in the Trans Canada Trail, the P2P trail is intended to be a "shared-use" network with such uses as hiking, cycling, cross country-skiing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, dog sledding and ATVing.

DIASOL is a non-profit-making organization that is also entitled to be a charitable organization. Its mission is to provide young people with mobile educational workshops based on the discovery and experimentation of light in photography. Through their various activities, the organization ensures the carrying out and promotion of social and cultural projects both in Quebec and in different Latin American countries. The photographic documentary then becomes a means of information and of fighting nations standardization.

Ubuntu Global Connections is a nonprofit organization in the United States that offers educational service trips to enable American students and adults to do volunteer work in South Africa. The trips are designed to promote connections and understanding between people of different cultural backgrounds through service activities and immersion experiences. As part of its mission, Ubuntu Global Connections makes grants and in-kind donations to the organizations with which the volunteers work.

Working to create awareness and provide education to the public on how to make safer decisions around tracks and trains in an effort to reduce collisions, deaths and injuries at highway-rail grade crossings and on railroad property in Minnesota. Our Volunteers reach tens of thousands of people across the state and beyond each year with the educational tools they need to prevent tragedies. The support of our partners, donors, volunteers and more help ensure we will someday truly bring a stop to preventable track tragedies.

The mission of Friends of Padhar Schools is to ensure that any child in rural India has an opportunity to receive an excellent education. Our organization is established to support staff, teachers and students in rural India who want to attend school. We are currently working with eight schools in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. We encourage international donors to participate in funding the education of these children, in order to establish a partnership that crosses boundaries of culture, class, race, religion, disability, status or wealth.

Plenty Canada is a registered non-profit organization that supports the environmental stewardship and sustainable development goals of community groups in underdeveloped countries and Canada. Plenty Canada's activities include: envionmental stewardship i.e species at risk, heritage seeds, traditonal food sytems, cross-cultural awareness, sharing and protection of Aboriginal and indigenous knowledge, income generation, potable water systems, agriculture and food production, forestry, appropriate technology, nurtition and health, sustainable living research and environmental and development education.

The Montreal Community Cares Awards promote active involvement in our city by honouring the achievements of a broad cross-section of worthy recipients. Our goal is to bring together the many linguistic, ethnic and cultural groups that make up the Greater Montreal Area to celebrate their unsung community champions at a formal gala. Categories include youth leader, community leader, student-athlete, community or charitable organization, and small/medium enterprise.
