Young Heroes Foundation

Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) has the highest rate of HIV infection in the world. A generation of children is being left without parents; a generation of grandparents are being left to raise them without resources. Young Heroes initiatives have supported over 15,000 orphans and vulnerable children. We empower Eswatini's most vulnerable youth and their caretakers so they may achieve their fullest potential through: life-support grants; vocational training; healthcare: HIV education, prevention, and care programs; educational support; and gender and economic empowerment programs.

Love Story Foundation

Love Story Foundation is a charity aimed at meeting the needs of the community in Port Elizabeth. We have a desire to be involved in community upliftment and development and would like to start a culture of "giving back to the community" amongst the public of this region. Our projects include feeding schemes for the homeless and destitute, early childhood development programmes in underprivileged schools and distribution of food parcels and clothing to those in need. We have a desire and passion to expand such projects and move into other areas requiring development nationally. Our Vision: to meet needs, to show love, to spread love.

Casa Estrella Foundation

Mission: To provide a Christian home, family and education to the impoverished youth in our communities. Casa Estrella Foundation, was founded in 2006 hostessing over 150 orphans through out the years, from ages 3 to up 18 years old. In 2014 we opened the first Private Christian School, from pre-K to High School. We have 360 students, this school year we gave 90 scholarships to mothers with low income and struggling families that have been separated from parents. Conservation Halton Foundation

Since 1974 we've raised $5 million to teach children about the value of nature, to help care for injured birds of prey, to plant trees, and to purchase and protect important natural lands. The Foundation is currently raising funds for environmental education programs for children including the Halton Children's Water Festival and the Halton Forest Festival, the new Hawk Clan longhouse at Crawford Lake Conservation Area, the Mountsberg Shrike Recovery Project, the Mountsberg Raptor Centre and habitat restoration projects at Oakville's Glenorchy Conservation Area.

The Alberta Emerald Foundation is a small charity making a large impact on the environmental landscape in Alberta. With a staff of just 1.5 employees and fantastic volunteer support, the AEF facilitates several unique and inspiring programs each year. Our flagship program is the Emerald Awards, celebrating environmental achievements in Alberta. Complimenting this program is our Sharing Stories communications strategy, where we share stories of our environmental heroes with the broader public. Additionally, we organize Emerald Day events in communities across the province as well as provide micro-grants to youth who are engaging in the environment.
