1 out of every 5 children and youth has a mental health problem. Two-thirds of these children aren’t receiving the help they need. Without treatment, these children may experience school failure, family conflict, substance abuse, violence, and even suicide. Effective prevention and treatment programs exist; however, more resources are required to ensure all children with mental health problems and their families receive the help they need. The Kinark Foundation supports prevention, education, respite and treatment programs. We fund a range of initiatives including research, pilot projects, services for children, youth and families, collaborative community-based projects, and equipment/capital needs. The FAMA Foundation works to empower economically disadvantaged people in the underserved communities of Spanish-speaking countries by providing educational, financial and health-related support with the goal of creating self-reliant and self-sustainable communities and households in these regions.

Your gift to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation helps make critical improvements for patients by funding life-saving technology, priority medical equipment and service redesign. Over half a million dollars is needed annually by the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation (Midland Site and Penetanguishene Site) for capital equipment and facility enhancements. Donations ensure a hi-tech healing environment in a compassionate, caring setting. Up-to-date technology and upgrades to equipment and facilities also help attract new physicians and health care professionals to our communities. The Foundation has completed the $4.25 million OUR BEST CARE capital campaign. The BEST CARE will ensure the hospitals meet current patients’ needs and emerging health care trends. Campaign projects include redesign and expansion of the emergency department in Midland (currently underway) and the rehabilitation centre in Penetanguishene, plus digital imaging for both hospitals-completed.

Founded in 2016 in memory of our son, Ian's Foundation seeks to provide a platform by which San Antonio’s youth are exposed to consequences of accidental trauma, encouraged to engage in activities and behavior aligned with personal safety, and pursue individual academic excellence.

The Lelt Foundation assists severely impoverished and malnourished families in Kara Kore, Ethiopia. Lelt has a Synergy Strategy which achieves success and sustainability through a combination of programs in education, nutrition, food security, orphan care, trauma counseling, microfinance and job creation for participating families.

Unatti Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides Nepali girls, in vulnerable situations, with educational programs. AIP Foundation's mission is to provide life-saving traffic safety knowledge and skills to the developing world with the goal of preventing road traffic crash fatalities and injuries. We envision a world in which there are safer roads, smarter road users, and countries whose road traffic environments serve their developing economies and people.

St.Amant believes that everyone has the right to develop to the best of their abilities. St.Amant is a comprehensive resource for children and adults with developmental disabilities in Manitoba. A non-profit corporation, St.Amant offers a range of programming, services and care to support disabled individuals and their families. Services include a main residence (River Road Place), more than 70 community sites and homes, a research centre, a school and a daycare. St.Amant also offers effective programming for children with autism and for families who care for an individual at home. Each year, St.Amant improves the quality of life for 1,500 individuals and their families. The St.Amant Foundation is a registered charity that raises money to improve the lives of Manitobans with developmental disabilities or autism and their families. Since its formation in 1989, the Foundation has contributed millions of dollars to improve programming and facilities operated by St.Amant.

The Bayat Foundation firmly believes that the poverty, civil unrest, war, joblessness and poor healthcare that has plagued the nation for more than 30 years can be drastically improved.  By building a sense of hope and pride in Afghanistan, the economics and social improvement will quickly follow and will contribute to a more peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan; bringing much needed stability.

Carefirst Foundation aims to raise $6 million from the community to fund a project development undertaken by Carefirst Seniors & Community Services Association in the development of a 49,000 sq ft "One-stop Access Multi-service Centre" which will combine community support and health care services for the easy access to service users in Scarborough by 2013.

The Terma Foundation's mission is to ensure that a generation of Tibetan children survive and thrive. Terma gets clinical care, equipment and medicines directly to remote villagers and nomads, saving thousands of lives annually through primary healthcare, screening and treatment for preventable life-threatening diseases, access to essential foods and medicines, and by providing basic health education.
