The Asteroidea Health Alliance has been founded with the charitable mission to equip community-based health initiatives in east and central Africa with the tools and resources to improve the health and well-being of their communities.

The Peterborough County-City Health Unit (PCCHU) is constantly working toward its vision of "healthy people in healthy communities." PCCHU takes a comprehensive approach to health promotion and protection activities by: carrying out population health surveillance; increasing public awareness; providing educational opportunities; facilitating supportive environments; and advocating for the development of healthy public policy. As an Ontario Public Health Unit, PCCHU is mandated by the province of Ontario and the Ontario Public Health Standards, 2008, to provide programming related to family health, chronic disease and injury prevention, environmental health, infectious diseases, and emergency preparedness. PCCHU puts a strong emphasis on meeting specific local needs in these areas and is deeply committed to addressing the social determinants of health in our communities.

Established in 1987, Global Health Ministries (GHM) continues the healing ministry of Jesus by enhancing health care programs of Lutheran churches in other countries. We pursue this mission by providing financial support for health care programs, receiving and shipping donated medical supplies and equipment, recruiting health care personnel for short term training projects, and collaborating with overseas partners in health care program development.

Hesperian strives for a world in which people and communities are equipped to achieve health for all. Our mission is to provide information and educational tools that help all people take greater control over their health and work to eliminate the underlying causes of poor health.

Health Gives Hope creates long term relationships with communities in developing nations to provide health through holistic programs that cultivate a hopeful future.

The mission of the Haitian Health Foundation (HHF) is to improve the health and well-being of women, children, families and communities in Haiti through healthcare, education and community development.

The Children’s Health Fund (CHF) is committed to providing health care to the nation’s most medically underserved children and their families through the development and support of innovative primary care medical programs, response to public health crises, and the promotion of guaranteed access to appropriate health care for all children. Through our unique mobile medical units and fixed-site clinics, we offer a “medical home” to thousands of homeless and low-income children and their families across the United States each year.

HealthRight International builds lasting access to health for excluded communities, employing a human rights-based approach and working closely with community partners to improve local capacity and advance the inclusivity of health systems.

Everywoman's Health Centre provides abortion services in a supportive, non- judgmental and confidential setting. Our clinic is run by the women who work here with the support of our volunteer board of directors. We treat the women who come here the way we would want to be treated ourselves. We respect women's decisions. We are committed to a feminist model of service that empowers women to participate in their own health care and adheres to principles of responsibility, accountability and team work in its internal organization. The purpose of Everywoman’s Health Centre Society is to support the ongoing operation of Everywoman's Health Centre as a not-for-profit clinic accessible to all women. The clinic is accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC and is funded by Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.

Child Health Foundation was established in 1985 to prevent and treat life-threatening communicable diseases of infants and children in the United States and abroad. We plan and support research to develop new health care technologies for children and disseminate the results through our network worldwide. We have been instrumental in supporting grassroots innovation and education for communities and health professionals so that they are prepared to intervene in saving children's lives.

Our mission is to build healthy, self-reliant communities in Rural Ethiopia through education, health and action.
