Sister Connection was founded in 2006 to help widows rebuild their lives after decades of war. Civil conflict left a generation of widows and orphans without status and without support. We connected them to donors who rebuilt their homes and supported them financially. Today, Sister Connection serves a new generation of widows. While the memory of war is fading, the economic prospects for widows and their children remain bleak. Our goal has shifted from the immediate needs of charity to a push for self-sufficiency and sustainable development.

The SJC is a human rights organization, providing public education on Third World poverty as a human rights issue. We are committed to social change through a three-step process of analysis, popular education, and response, with a special focus on Third World debt, the democratization of international financial institutions, and struggles for community rights in Mesoamerica.

The Angels Anonymous Connection started with a group of friends banding together to help fulfill a woman's last wish. Realizing how much can be done by a small group of dedicated individuals, the Angels Anonymous Connection is dedicated to helping adults fulfill one final wish from the heart. A dream can be as simple as seeing a dear friend once last time, keeping a promise to young children for a special family trip, or returning to a place of meaningful childhood memories. Common dream requests include weekends for two at Fantasyland in Edmonton, or trips to Disneyland with the family, and even meeting a favorite movie star.

Life Connection Mission (LCM) is a Christian, interdenominational, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to bringing hope and opportunities to impoverished children and adults in Haiti without discrimination. LCM realizes this commitment through evangelism, medical care, humanitarian outreach, education, and career preparation.

The Kids Connection Haiti (KCH) mission is to empower at-risk young adults in Haiti to become contributing, self-sufficient members within their communities through education, life skills training, community service, mentorship, and career development. KCH was founded to support a very specific target community: young women and men from 18 to 25 years old who grew up in extreme poverty, whether from orphanages, homelessness, child slavery situations or coming from Haiti’s most challenging slums. KCH welcomes them all. It provides them with support for the next step in life.
