Save Our Songbirds conducts principal research on migratory songbirds with a particular focus on birds migrating through Thunder Bay, Ontario. We are in the process of establishing a migration monitoring & bird banding station on McKellar Island. Here we plan to track the numbers of birds migrating through this area spring and fall through banding and counting birds. In this location, so close to the city, we will have many opportunities to interact with the public, to educate and engage. We need your help supporting the biologists in their work. The Save Your Skin Foundation is a Canadian not-for-profit foundation. The Syria Fund is a group of volunteers who care deeply about helping Syrian refugees amid this massive, ongoing crisis. The Bellevue Program for Survivors of Torture (PSOT) provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary care addressing the medical, mental health, legal, and social service needs of torture survivors and their families residing in the New York metropolitan area.
