QLF is a Not-for-Profit Organization in the U.S. and a Registered Charity in Canada. QLF fosters long-term leadership development within individuals and communities by supporting community-based conservation initiatives; developing models of stewardship of natural and cultural resources; and aiding in community service, economic development, and heritage preservation in rural regions.

Friends of Kawartha Conservation: * Encourages and supports the interpretive, education and protective activities of Kawartha Conservation; * Supports, promotes and raises awareness of the heritage and natural resources within the Kawartha Conservation watershed; * Provides financial support for conservation programs and activities; and * Functions as a charitable non-profit corporation for fund raising, sales and other conservation supportive activities.

Hollyhock is a non-profit educational retreat centre located on gorgeous Cortes Island, BC, that offers immersive learning experiences for the mind, body & spirit. Hollyhock selects world-class presenters, who are experts in their field, to teach on such topics as the arts, health, well-being, sustainability, business & leadership. With over 100 educational programs and 4 social change conferences we inspire 2500 people annually. With stunning ocean views amidst lush rainforest, majestic snow-capped mountains, & exquisite gardens, Hollyhock is the perfect setting to learn and grow both personally and professionally. Ryan’s Well grew from the commitment of one boy, Ryan Hreljac, who learned of the great need for clean water in his 1st grade class. With the support of friends, family and the community, Ryan raised enough money to build his first well at Angolo Primary School in Uganda in 1999. With your help, we can change the startling statistics presented by the global water and sanitation crisis. Since 2001, we have helped build over 700 wells and 900 latrines, bringing safe water and sanitation to over 750,000 people. Ryan’s story is compelling and empowers people of all ages – youth in particular – to take action and effect positive change in the world. Ireland Park is the principle memorial to the Irish famine experience in Toronto. During the summer of 1847, 38,000 Irish famine immigrants arrived in Toronto when the city's population was only 20,000. The Park will speak to the success of the Irish community in overcoming great adversity and acknowledges their significant contribution to the growth and development of Canada. It will stand as a beacon of hope to immigrants everywhere and will permanently change the perception and awareness of the Irish community in Canada as well as forging lasting relationships between both countries.

During the week long wilderness expeditions, participants take part in structured lessons in the following subject areas: canoeing and camping skills, geography, biology and ecology. Post-trip activities permit participants to share their experiences with their communities (e.g. school assemblies, articles in local newspapers) and to engage in the work of our environmental partners. Creating a Community Commons The Gabriola Commons is a place where sustainability, community and agriculture meet. The Gabriola Commons, located on Gabriola Island, a northern Gulf Island in the Salish Sea, features 26 acres of peaceful rural landscapes. The property includes connecting pathways, open vistas, meditative spaces, vibrant community gardens, learning and meeting spaces for the use and enjoyment of the public. Alberta Tomorrow is a free on-line land-use simulator that helps users understand the complex relationship between land-use and a set of environmental and socio-economic factors. The simulator allows you to time travel back in time to see what the land was like in the past, and travel into the future to create a sustainable land-use plan for the next 30 years. Using cutting edge GIS technology and satellite imagery, Alberta Tomorrow is an effective tool in creating a sustainable future.

CTF was born from the idea that the world would be a better place if we were all given the opportunity to give back. Established by a group of water women, we feel it is our calling to help others by teaming up with local organizations globally to raise awareness and address social, environmental, health and safety concerns in the places we visit. We aim to bridge the gap between the traveler and our projects enabling travelers to add a life-changing experience to their journeys and add purpose to travel.

Women Win is the global leader in girls’ and women’s empowerment through sport.
