"We Conserve". It's a statement of commitment to a healthier environment. It's also the name of our initiative to build a stronger conservation movement in Ontario. The Conservation Council of Ontario is a provincial association of organizations and individual conservation leaders who seek to promote conservation solutions and values in Ontario. GENERAL CONTRIBUTION: Help create conservation campaigns and community-oriented programs to connect people with conservation solutions. The Friends of Point Pelee are a co-operating association with Point Pelee National Park in Leamington Ontario Canada. We were formed to provide services, resources and support for research, education and ecological integrity preservation in and around the park. We operate a number of visitor services inside the park, such as the Nature Nook (the store in the Visitor Centre), the canoe & bicycle rentals and the Cattail Cafe (at the Marsh Boardwalk). We also operate the transit system that shuttles visitors from the Visitor Centre to the Tip. The proceeds from sales and services support our operations as well as the Parks Canada Mandate and Point Pelee National Park initiatives.

Sable Island is a 41k stretch of sand located approximately 290k SE of Halifax, NS, Canada. It is home to many species of plants & animals, including approx. 400 wild horses. The Island is also home to the threatened Roseate Tern, as well as Arctic Terns, gulls, sandpipers, plovers, black ducks and mergansers and is the only breeding ground of the rare Ipswich Sparrow. Living on Sable Island is the largest congregation of breeding Grey Seals and a small resident population of Harbour Seals. Sable Island Preservation Trust is a non-profit organization established in 1997 to help preserve and protect Sable Island's unique ecosytem. Sable Trust’s goal is to promote and conduct scientific research and monitoring and to undertake conservation programs which will ensure the long-term stability and viability of Sable Island, its plants and animal life, and the surrounding marine environment.

Master Gardeners of Ontario is a registered volunteer run charity that comprises 40 groups in communities across the province of Ontario. The Rivershed Society of British Columbia (RSBC) was formed in 1996, in the wake of Fin Donnelly’s first 1,400 kilometre Fraser River swim. For the past decade, the RSBC has been delivering educational and leadership programs, creating public awareness, building stewardship capacity, and promoting sustainable solutions throughout BC’s riversheds. Healthy riversheds are key to sustainability, but human activity is the major factor contributing to the loss of biodiversity within these ecosystems. With over four million people now living in B.C.’s riversheds, resources are being extracted, exported and consumed faster than they are being replenished. This is why we need to educate emergent leaders, so that they too can make a difference and have access to sustainable choices in order to contribute to maintaining rivershed biodiversity.

The Friends of Kananaskis Country Cooperating Association was incorporated as a not-for-profit & Registered Charity in 1996. Working in partnership with Alberta Tourism, Parks & Recreation we are interested citizens cooperating for the benefit of Kananaskis Country & its visitors. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors with a diversity of backgrounds, skills and a passion for Kananaskis Country. They ensure that every one of our programs & projects center around the concepts of: Education, Participation & Protection. We take an active role volunteering to assist in the construction & maintenance of the extensive trail system throughout Kananaskis Country.

The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) protects Canada's most threatened natural habitats and the species that call them home. Since 1962, NCC and its supporters have protected more than 2.7 million acres (1.1 million hectares) of ecologically sensitive land nationwide.

For many years the Friends of Quetico Park, has sponsored summer students for assistance with the Park’s summer programs. By assisting programs such as the Natural Heritage Program, an educational program run for youth that visit Dawson Trail Campground, we have helped educate Canada’s youth about the beauty and cultural wonders of our park. We have assisted the John B. Ridley Library with numerous students over the years to support library services. We have purchased books and shelving units for the library to broaden its collection and its appeal to all visitors to the Dawson Trail Pavilion. For close to 25 years, the Food Banks of Quebec network has supported and represented 18 Moisson members (food banks) across Quebec in supplying some 1,064 food assistance organizations. Each month, with the support of over 16,000 volunteers, the members of Food Banks of Quebec process more than 1.8 million requests for emergency food assistance: 422,155 requests for groceries, 475,024 snacks and 937,650 meals served. Families with children represent 48.4% of those helped.

The Recycling Council of Alberta (RCA) is a non-governmental, not-for-profit charitable organization that promotes and facilitates waste reduction, recycling and resource conservation in the Province of Alberta.
