Global Smile Foundation (GSF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting global access to integrated cleft care so that no child suffers needlessly from untreated cleft lip/palate, especially underserved patients in low- to middle-income countries. Our mission is to provide world class cleft care to underserved patients from birth to adulthood and empower cleft providers through training and education.

The Squamish Community Foundation is an independent, charitable organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life for the community members of Squamish. The foundation was created in 2003 to meet the needs of our growing community through the establishment of a locally-based long term institution. We manage funds given to us by donors in our community and distribute the income from those endowed funds to local registered charities for community projects. Squamish Community Foundation belongs to the Community Foundations of Canada, a group of 165 community foundations across Canada. The Squamish Community Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors which is made up of community leaders who are Squamish residents and whose carried backgrounds are intended to be representative of Squamish’s diversity.

The Hamilton Conservation Foundation was founded as a registered charity in 1976. The charitable number is 859975617 RR0001. The Foundation exists to raise support and funding for the Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA)and has done so for more than 36 years. The HCA is legislated under the Ontario Conservations Authorities’ Act, 1946 and charged with the duty of managing renewable natural resources on a watershed basis. The Foundation raises capital and endowment funds, and will accept gifts of cash, securities, land and relevant in-kind donations. The Foundation gratefully accepts bequests and other Legacy gifts.

Miracle Foundation is an international nonprofit that helps orphans and foster children find a safe, stable, and permanent family. Whether in an orphanage or in the Foster Care System, our vision is a family for every child in our lifetime. Since 2000, Miracle Foundation has been dedicated to improving the lives of children. In 2022 alone, we supported more than 170,000 children—and this is just the beginning. Today, we are a world leader in ending the need for orphanages and ensuring children grow up in safe, stable families. To achieve this, we are actively uniting children with families, partnering with frontline workers, preventing children from entering the system whenever possible, and stabilizing placements for children until they find a forever family. The Oakville Community Foundation is a conduit between the passions of philanthropic families and the needs of the community. As a registered charity, the Foundation is one of the largest members of a national network of over 190 Canadian community foundations. The Maitland Conservation Foundation is a registered, charitable, non-profit organization that supports the environmental work of the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority. Established in 1975 the Foundation's Board of Directors and members are volunteers. The Maitland Conservation Foundation works in partnership with the Maitland Valley Conservation Authority to raise funds for conservation projects. Currently the Foundation is working to ensure the availability of environmental education programs in the Maitland watershed, to support projects that will build the environmental resiliency of the watershed and to upgrade facilities at local conservation areas. Donors are welcome to direct their donations to specific initiatives including the John Hindmarsh Environmental Trust Fund, the Geoff Walker Memorial Fund, the Wawanosh Nature Centre, tree planting/environmental restoration efforts, Memorial Grove and Falls Reserve Conservation Area. The Niagara Community Foundation links donors' legacies to their community forever through the creation of endowment funds that are held in perpetuity. A portion of the earnings are granted each year to charities working in a variety of sectors, including the arts, education, culture, heritage, environment, health and the social services. The charities supported each year are determined in two ways: either through donor direction at the time the fund was created or through a variety of granting programs. Donors can designate a particular charity or a field of interest to support with their fund. They can also meet with the foundation annually to advise us as to which particular charities or causes they would like to support. Memorial gifts and gifts in honour of an individual can also be made to the foundation and to a particular fund at the foundation. A complete listing of the funds is available below.
