The Freedom from Fistula Foundation (FFFF) manages and funds projects that deliver maternal health care to vulnerable girls and women across Africa. The foundation treats and cares for those suffering from obstetric fistula by offering free surgeries, free maternity care, safe childbirth and provides programs aimed at prevention, social and psychological support and economic empowerment to those affected. The overall goal of the organization is to completely eradicate obstetric fistulas for women and girls in Africa. The key objectives of the FFFF are: To expand or develop fistula services in Africa, particularly in Kenya, Malawi, Sierra Leone and Madagascar. To finance access to healthcare during pregnancy and labor and to help prevent obstetric fistulas from occurring. To provide education and empowerment to fistula patients. To partner with other organizations and local facilities to improve fistula and maternity care.

Background: After a tragic car accident in 2011 that resulted in having an 18 year old young teenager to be a wheelchair user; his mother along with a group of 13 friends decided to make a difference when it comes to physical disability in Egypt and the Middle East after the challenges they faced and still are. Vision: To be the leading example developmental foundation in Egypt, Middle East and Africa that embrace wheelchair/physical disabilities with emphasis on endless possibilities. Mission: Alhassan Foundation is determined to providing "tailored solutions", facilities, re-habilitation and re-occupation for humans on wheelchairs, and their families to overcome their challenges and make best use of their different abilities. 1. Nurturing "YES I CAN" attitude among wheelchair users and their families 2. Changing society's mindset regarding viewing a wheelchair user as "disabled" to be "differently abled" 3. Involving the right mix of corporations, governmental entities, global organisations and individuals to achieve our vision. 4. Provide a franchised rehabilitation centres similar to those in Germany & UK. 5. Represent a franchised wheelchair factory. 6. Quality rehabilitation and reoccupation for wheelchair users changes individuals to be of value added to society rather than a burden. 7. (Tennis; Basket; Bow/Arrow; Swimming; Table Tennis..etc) 12. Supporting humans with disabilities should be a "sustained constitutional right" and not optional service or charity in Egypt. 13. Translate/support writing books that represent physical challenges to be reference for others in Egypt & Middle East. 14. Humans with challenges deserve not only to live, but to live happily. The American Foundation for Children with AIDS (AFCA) is a non-profit organization providing critical comprehensive services to infected and affected HIV+ children and their caregivers. Our programs are efficient, promoting self-reliance and sustainability. Since 2005, in collaboration with our in-country partners, we have served tens of thousands of families in some of the most underserved and marginalized communities in Africa. Our areas of impact include: medical support, livelihoods, educational support and emergency relief. Currently, AFCA is transforming lives in Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
