The Friends of the Tay Watershed (FoTW) is a non-profit association, dedicated to preserving and enhancing the health of the Tay River Watershed. It was founded and obtained incorporated non-profit charitable status in 2001. The Tay is a magnificent tributary of the Rideau Canal system in eastern Ontario, covering 95 kilometers and encompassing 46 lakes and numerous streams and wetlands. The FoTW involves landowners, water users, and other interested parties in programs to improve the health of the Tay River Watershed. It works to: 1. educate the public and watershed stakeholders on the benefits of maintaining and improving wildlife habitat, recreation, and water quality and quantity in the Tay Watershed; 2. carry forward the recommendations of the Tay River Watershed Management Plan; 3. promote the coordination of water protection and improvement activities from the range of organizations involved in watershed management. GOAL is an international humanitarian organization dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the poorest of the poor in the developing world. GOAL implements long-term development programs in health, nutrition, education and livelihoods and child protection.

Our goal is to bring tree equity to communities that lack natural tree canopy by establishing tiny native forests in and around the Chicago metropolitan area.​We use the Miyawaki method of tree planting to bring the benefits of forests to more communities. Our goal is to improve tree equity as defined by American Forests.​Everyone deserves trees and the health, climate and social benefits they provide.

African Mission Healthcare (AMH) partners with mission hospitals across sub‑Saharan Africa to expand access to quality, compassionate care. They provide multi‑year support including training for health workers, clinical programs (e.g., HIV/TB care and surgical access), and investments in hospital infrastructure and equipment so mission hospitals can serve more people long‑term.

Acupuncturists Without Borders provides integrative, trauma‑informed care (for example acupuncture, therapeutic massage and plant‑based therapies) to people affected by disasters, conflict, and chronic trauma, and trains volunteer health professionals to develop sustainable local trauma‑relief programs. Their work focuses on immediate relief after crises and building longer‑term community resilience through training and collaboration.

ABSA-USA Inc. is committed to helping Students become leaders in their communities. ABSA-USA Inc. carries out this mission through a variety of means, including an assortment of educational and cultural programs that seek to expand the horizons of our Students and give them the skill sets they will need to lead successful and productive lives. ABSA-USA Inc. focus areas are education, economic empowerment and health and nutrition.

CAP and TCAT also undertakes active applied research focusing on active transportation, green buildings, land use and public health, green procurement, urban forestry, green energy, climate adaptation, community and corporate energy planning, link between green policies and green economic development, clean air policy and planning, green fleets, and community engagement on clean air and climate change.

Give To Colombia is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in the U.S. that mobilizes resources, talents, and technologies to benefit the most vulnerables communities, which include disabled, displaced, and demobilized populations, as well as women and children. We work to create scalable, sustainable high-impact projects in the pillars of Education, Health & Nutrition, Environment, Economic Development, Water & Sanitation, and Humanitarian Aid.

aec USA, is a nonprofit organization providing a bridge for US based individuals, institutions, and corporations to connect with and support Lebanon's most underprivileged and marginalized communities, regardless of religion, political affiliation or nationality. Through fundraising efforts and additional programs, aec USA supports at risk communities in Lebanon by focusing on youth empowerment, mobility and health, sustainable agriculture and environment, responsible tourism and social support.

Since 1972 ACTS has been bringing clean water to villages in Southwestern Uganda. Our water projects include community education in the areas of health and sanitation and environmental issues. We partner with the Church of Uganda (Anglican) and have developed healthy working relationships with various local agencies as a means of providing villagers with access to resources in health (specifically HIV/AIDS testing and education) and sustainable agriculture initiatives. In recent years we have also developed Mutual Benefit Societies for widows who have limited means to support themselves and their children. Through co-operative farming, animal husbandry and handicrafts these women work together to achieve the financial means to support themselves and contribute to their communities. We have enjoyed support from CIDA in 3-1 matching funding for these projects as well as funding for Canadian youth interns to work in their field of expertise to serve these communities.

Results for Development Institute (R4D) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to unlock solutions to tough development challenges that prevent people in low- and middle-income countries from realizing their full potential. Using multiple approaches in multiple sectors including, Global Education, Global Health, Governance and Market Dynamics, R4D supports the discovery and implementation of new ideas for reducing poverty and improving lives around the world.
