Rockcliffe Park is a vibrant heritage village community in the heart of the nation's capital. The Friends of the Village of Rockcliffe Park Foundation (The Village Foundation) encourages and financially supports community initiatives in three key areas: conservation of the environment; preservation of the heritage character of the village; and promotion of a sense of community for all residents.

Surfing The Nations impacts local and international communities through the sport of surfing and selfless service meeting needs and changing lives.

Bread to the Nations supports several initiatives in Haiti to help strengthen families. The initiatives include relief support of basic needs, such as food and clothing for families, education, clean water and home building.

Give to the World helps to stabilize the most conflict-ridden areas of the world by providing families with the humanitarian aid they require for daily survival. Our material and supplies save lives, alleviate suffering, restore dignity, and provide the foundation for further economic, political, and social development. Give to the World is a non-profit organization that delivers critical material overseas to desperate people living in conflict zones through legitimate organizations who partner with the United Nations, United States, and European union.

The Lung Association, Manitoba is a member of the Canadian Lung Association, which has been working to improve the lung health of Canadians for over 100 years. We are a non-profit, registered health organization that relies on donations from the public to fund our activities. We are the premier source of lung health information and initiatives in Manitoba. Our efforts are focused on lung disease education & management, tobacco cessation & prevention, improved air quality & environment, tuberculosis and occupational health services. CFCAS enhances Canada’s scientific capacity by funding the generation and dissemination of knowledge in areas of national importance and policy relevance, through focused support for excellent university-based research in climate and atmospheric sciences. CFCAS supports efforts to: Understand our climate system, high-impact weather, air quality and ocean-atmosphere interactions; Improve weather predictions; Generate skilled human resources; Provide scientific information to support federal policymaking and service delivery. CFCAS research grants indirectly promote: Job creation and the retention of skilled researchers; Economic growth and sustainable development; Technological innovation for weather and other environment industries; Weather security and human health issues.

The American Chestnut Foundation has one simple goal: to restore the American chestnut to its native forests. Destroyed by an imported blight many consider the worst environmental disaster of the twentieth century, the American chestnut was virtually eliminated from the eastern hardwood forest between 1904 and 1940. With its loss, wildlife populations plummeted; never to return to former levels. With recent developments in genetics, there is promise that this critically important wildlife food source and timber tree will again become part of our natural heritage. To make this possibility a reality, a group of prominent scientists, in 1983, established the non-profit research-oriented American Chestnut Foundation (TACF). The Foundation's mission is simple: to restore the American chestnut as an integral part of the eastern forest ecosystem. TACF is employing traditional plant breeding techniques, backed by advanced research methods, to develop a blight resistant American chestnut tree. TACF is restoring a species - and in the process, creating a template for restoration of other tree and plant species.

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing sustainable water and sanitation projects to needlessly suffering communities in sub-Saharan Africa.

The GOD'S CHILD Project's mission is "to break the bitter chains of poverty through education, housing and healthcare." While GOD'S CHILD is rooted in education and health-care, we aim to support the communities we serve at every level of development. Through our wide range of programs, we help children and families living in extreme poverty to meet their basic needs and find a restored sense of hope, self-worth and human dignity. Religious affiliation is not a requirement for any program services.
