Integration Action for Inclusion in Education and Community (Ontario) is an action-oriented association, parent support group consisting of parents, educators and concerned citizens, who are advocates for the inclusion of all children in their neighbourhood schools and in the community. We believe that all children have the right to a quality education that will prepare them for a full and productive life in the community. It is our belief that the best way to prepare children who need extra support is to educate them alongside their peers. This is achieved through individualized programming and supports for all children. Successful inclusion of a child needing extra support benefits not only the child, but also his or her friends and peers, the education system and society as a whole.

Vancouver Commuity Network is a non-profit internet service provider, offering free dial-up internet access and providing free email account, webmail, web page, mailing list, database and domain name hosting. VCN offers a range of training and support for users in the Lower Mainland of BC. VCN also works with community groups to help them use information and communication technologies to better meet their goals.

As-Sadiq Islamic School is to educate children, in the best of academic traditions, using a curriculum complying with the Ontario Ministry of Education and Training's academic goals and achievement standards.

Lougheed House is a national and provincial historic site owned by the Province of Alberta and operated by Lougheed House Conservation Society. Lougheed House Conservation Society is a non-profit society, devoted to the restoration and public enjoyment of the historic Lougheed House. Also known as Beaulieu, Lougheed House was home to Senator James Alexander Lougheed, Lady Isabella Hardisty Lougheed, their six children and staff. This grand sandstone prairie mansion was built in 1891 and enlarged in 1907; the impressive scale and the high quality of the design, materials and interior furnishings of the house reflected the wealth and prestige of the Lougheeds. An article in the Calgary Daily Herald claimed it was "one of the finest residences in the Canadian northwest."

The Darling Foundry Visual Arts Centre aims to be an alternative, professional complex devoted to visual artists and their supporters. On the leading edge in terms of preservation and innovation in design, they designed the reception area, QUARTIER ÉPHÉMÈRE's offices, and the two public exhibition galleries. QUARTIER ÉPHÉMÈRE's offices are upstairs, on the second floor, while the galleries and reception area are situated on the main floor. The first gallery, at 500 m2, retains its strong industrial character and reflects In Situ's approach whereby the art displayed within the gallery must interact with its surroundings. The second gallery, much smaller at 180 m2, is more traditional, allowing the works to take center stage in the space. Phase 2, adjacent to Phase 1, provides artists with studios in which to create their works, along with production workshops to assist them in their creation.

Since 1989, Modern Times has explored stories from across the globe, producing adapted, translated and original works for audiences in Canada and internationally.

We channel our efforts into 4 areas: democracy, peace and citizenship; social justice movements; media, Information and Communications Technologies as well as social ecology. We also inform Canadians about national and international issues. We succeed in doing so through: our website, Alternatives' newspaper (free newspaper), our participation to Social Forums and coalitions, organisation of conferences and debates. Founded in year 1988, PROMIS organization offers diverse services and activities to satisfy the clearly expressed needs of the community, through a global integration approach. Our services and activities are offered to all the Island of Montreal’s newcomers. However, certain services are mainly addressed to residents of the Côte-des-Neiges district. Working for people, around the world. Engineers Without Borders Quebec (ISFQ, Ingénieurs sans frontières Québec) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1994 by engineers wishing to contribute to the development of various communities around the world. The members of ISFQ are primarily active or retired engineers. In the preparation and the realization of its projects, ISFQ applies the principles of sustainable development as defined in 1987 by the United Nations. Sustainable development was presented as being "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their own needs".

Mission Corail-Haïti works in the city of Corail, in Haiti, for more than 30 years. We take care of an elementary school with 600 children, a dispensary that help 40 to 60 patients a day and a housing cooperative of 150 families among the poorest in the city. We also have a host structure for our missionaries. With our activities, we provide employment for almost 40 Haitians.

You are invited to discover our Observatory which is dedicated to popularizing natural sciences and to promote them as hobbies among the young and the young at heart. Various activities are offered in astronomy, ornithology, mycology, forestry, amateur ham radio and small rocket building and launching. Mont Cosmos main telescope is a computerized 16" 406 mm Meade LX200. We also have a conference room, a small kitchen, toilets and a beautiful deck for your scenic lunch. Located in a beautiful and peaceful setting, between the rolling Beauce hills and the Quebec city area, Mont Cosmos has a beautiful view of the Saint-Lawrence valley and is located in the Appalachian hills. Over five kilometres of hiking trails, along with two scenic points equipped with decks, enables you to discover the enchanting nature of our area. We do offer services in english upon special demand. Groups, families and friends are welcome.

Founded in 1996, the Helios Centre is an independent, non-profit energy research group, dedicated to developing the knowledge base required to foster appropriate strategies, policies, regulatory decisions and market choices for a sustainable energy and climate future. Energy: Research, sponsored or not, on legislative, regulatory and commercial solutions ; Studies and expert advice responding to specific needs of decision-makers and other stakeholders in the energy sector ; Publications to raise public awareness regarding the path to sustainable energy. Climate change: Analysis of international negotiations and the evolving of the regulatory framework ; Identification of opportunities and analysis of policy and regulatory issues ; Expert support in developing CDM projects under the Kyoto Protocol ; Support for capacity-building and the implementation of Designated National Authorities (DNA) ; Professional training enhancing public understanding of climate issues.
