The Black Student Fund was established in 1963 to desegregate the independent schools of metropolitan Washington, DC and make them accessible to black children, irrespective of economic status. To that end, the Fund has built a multidimensional set of programs that support its mission and influence changes within the schools and the community as a whole. In addition to providing scholarships and essential support services to low-income black children, grades K through 12, our comprehensive programs include outreach and referral services featuring an Annual School Fair; summer school programs; and, through our Institute for Equity, Race & Education, we conduct courses in cross-racial communication for school faculty and administrators.

Auroville is one of the world's great centers of environmental education with projects in 14 Indian states and outreach to 30 countries spanning the globe. Auroville Unity Fund is committed to provide the financial means to Auroville in securing the land, by consolidating and acquiring strategic lands for water, organic farming, reforestation and expanding the work, demo sites, training and outreach in regenerative work and culture. Founded in 1955, the World Rehabilitation Fund is the pioneer organization devoted to the development and implementation of rehabilitation programs for people with disabilities throughout the world. WRF's mission is: to enable individuals around the world with functional limitations and participation restrictions achieve community and social integration through physical and socio-economic rehabilitation and advocacy; and to prevent disability and reduce disadvantage. WRF believes that all people, regardless of disability, have the right to participate fully in their communities, to attain education and viable employment. Guiding Principles The WRF staff works closely with local and international partners to develop culturally appropriate initiatives that address all aspects of rehabilitation, from incident through reintegration by: Strengthening the capacity of indigenous organizations to better meet the needs of people in states of disadvantage due to various forms of disabilities. Developing community-based programs for physical, psychological, and socio-economic rehabilitation and reintegration. Upgrading skills of rehabilitation service providers such as physicians, therapists, health promoters, nurses, social workers, and vocational rehabilitation specialists. Collaborating with industry and local professionals to enhance vocational training, skills-building, and job placement programs to create sustainable employment and income-generating entrepreneurial opportunities. Training rehabilitation professionals throughout the world in the fabrication and fitting of artificial limbs, orthopedic braces, and other assistive technology appropriate for the geographic area they serve. Ensuring that people with disabilities are part of the team from start to finish.

RESULTS is a movement of passionate, committed everyday people. Together they use their voices to influence political decisions that will bring an end to poverty.Volunteers receive training, support, and inspiration to become skilled advocates. In time, volunteers learn to effectively advise policy makers, guiding them towards decisions that improve access to education, health, and economic opportunity.With every hour of their time, volunteers multiply their impact through the enormous power of advocacy — whether it's helping change policy to support millions of families putting food on the table or helping raise billions of dollars for the world's most vulnerable children.RESULTS advocates realize the incredible power they possess to use their voices to change the world.

Mission: To foster the conservation of North American monarch butterflies and their migration through habitat restoration, research, monitoring, education and support for sustainable community development in and near the monarch overwintering areas in Mexico. Vision: Healthy ecosystems and sustainable communities that preserve North American monarch butterflies and their spectacular migration in perpetuity.

To help impoverished children succeed in life. We enable children to access schools and we help them to stay there, by paying fees, teaching life skills, providing counseling when problems arise, providing medical help when needed and making sure every child has at least one square meal every day. We provide both formal education and technical training for children who would otherwise suffer hunger, disease and permanent poverty.

We are committed to biodiversity conservation and research, protecting our ancestral territory and its natural resources, developing environmentally sound income alternatives, and educating our youngest generation. FSC has received and managed grants from both government and private sources for activities directed to the conservation and management of Cofan ancestral territories in northeastern Ecuador, and for the development of strategies that will allow the Cofan people to maintain cultural and economic stability. We work closely with FEINCE, the Ecuadorian Cofan Indigenous Federation.

Mission: That every girl gets the education she needs to better her life, her community, and her world. Vision: To educate and empower Kenya’s next generation of community leaders. Daraja is a secondary boarding school established for Kenyan girls with top academic scores and exceptional leadership skills but no means of continuing their education. Beyond a full scholarship and academic rigor, the academy provides shelter, food, healthcare and counseling services so students may focus on their academic and personal potential without the everyday barriers they would otherwise face. Our groundbreaking educational model has generated a community of students filled with intellectual curiosity and a hunger to learn.
